Sneaky business

Y/N's POV.

The tall man's gaze felt somewhat judging, as you immediately avoided his eyes when he scanned all of you silently. He didn't even need to say anything, and still there was this certain aura coming from him. An aura filled with power, making you feel respect for the guy right away. And you could tell that it wasn't only you that felt it, the rest of the men was also speechless and lost for words. 

"Who are you, and what brought you to us? I'm truly curious to know how exactly you managed to get here, we are not really used to visitors you see." the man asked in a calm voice

"They need help hyung, I found them on the west side of the island earlier." 

Taehyung appeared from out somewhere that you didn't see, and came walking up towards the rest of you. 

As soon as the other man spotted Taehyung, he immediately bowed for him deeply as to show his respect.  

"Your majesty." he greeted him politely and then said towards the group "Everyone may I present his royal majesty, leader of the Air Islands Celestis, Kim Taehyung."

Surprised would have been an understatement of what people in the group looked at that moment, though to say the least, all wasn't positive. Dr. Kim lit up and was about to pull up his notebook, if it wouldn't had been for you stopping him in the last second. While others like Jungkook, appeared to look even more pissed than earlier. 

 "May I have a word, in private?" Namjoon whispered to Taehyung 

But Taehyung just raised his hand and shook his head, and instead said in Korean as he turned to the rest.

"Namjoon hyung, these people's ship broke down, I saw it with my very own eyes. They are nothing more than a group of friendly explorers. So if we could just help them out, help them build up a new transportation so that they will be able to get back home. That's all I'm asking for."

The man who's name was Namjoon looked at his monarch, touching his mouth with his index finger and thumb as he tried to contemplate if this would end up a disaster or not. When his own father had let him take after the job as the royal counselor when he died, he had promised his old man that he would put down his own life to be able to protect and support the royal crown prince. 

After years of watching his father's work and go with him to the palace, he had got know the king's son pretty well. He himself was about a year apart from him, so the two of them had always been able to connect quite well with one another. 

After the king died, his son had fell into a deep hole of grieving, which had led to him almost wanting to abdicate his role as the next monarch. Luckily though, Namjoon had been there and had been able to persuade him along with the prince's best friend not to make any hasty decisions. And since that day, they had become pretty close. Taehyung trusted Namjoon's judgement, but he was also a free spirit. A person who had strong opinions of whatever he was passionated about, and in this case this situation seemed to be one of those. 

"If that is your majesty's wish, then it's settled." Namjoon stated. "Everyone, to make things clear. You're allowed to stay for the times being, until we have managed to fix some kind of transportation. So I may advise you to not settle down, since this is only temporarily. Apart from that, we welcome you to Celestis." 

Due to the lack of reaction, Dr. Kim stepped up and said politely while he nervously fixed his tie. 

"We very much appreciate your generous gesture, your majesty." he bowed and gestured for the rest to do the same.

"No need for formalities. However, you all must be exhausted. If I'm not wrong, you didn't catch much sleep last night." Taehyung told them, for a second it almost looked like he grimaced by the sound of someone calling him by his title.
