Flirty cuddles

Y/n's POV.

That night you didn't fall asleep on your normal sleeping spot in the palace. After you had reunited with Taehyung in the cave, he had brought you outside of the palace walls to show you something. 

*Flashback to that night*

Getting swooped up into a tall tree with Taehyung holding a steady grip around your waist with one hand, he used his other to grab a liana and managed to get enough speed to swing trough the air until the two of you landed into the tree. From there he grabbed another liana and took you further and further away deeper into the forest, making you burrow your head into the crook of his neck since you had a bit of fright for heights. 

Feeling how millions of tingles went through your body as you was being thrown through the air in a high speed, the wind blowed in your ears giving you the same kind of thrilling feeling that you usually get from going on a roller coaster. And thank god that you had pants on and not a skirt or similar, since that would have most probably ended in a embarrassing mess. 

"You know you won't die from only taking a peek right?" Taehyung teased and chuckled at your small squeaks that you made whenever he grabbed a new liana.

Burrowing your head deeper into his shoulder, you shut your eyes tighter like it would somehow make it better. 

"I ain't taking any risks! And how much further are we going, I don't know for how much I can take this." you whined, clinging onto him for dear life. 

If it was something that you weren't ever gonna get used to, then it was this. The mere thought of Taehyung losing his grip of either you or the liana, made you feel like dying. However, your prayers seemed to have been heard, as Taehyung never got to give you a reply before you felt ground underneath your feet, or well thick branches to be exact. 

"Is it it over, are we there?" you asked anxiously with your eyes still tightly shut.

Taehyung let go of you, which caused you to whimper like a little puppy since you still felt a bit dizzy from the energetic trip. Hearing your whines and realising that you still had your eyes closed, Taehyung let out a chuckle.

"You know things would be so much easier if you just opened those pretty eyes of yours princess." his voice was filled to the brim with sarcasm, but still there was a certain touch of caring in there somewhere too.

Reacting to his compliment like you always did as soon as anyone told you anything nice, your cheeks went pink as blood flushed up in your face. Despite the embarrassment you opened your eyes, and had to take some seconds for them to get used to the dark surrounding. 

You were standing on some kind of platform looking thing in one of the enormous trees. Long thick branches that was tangled together and lead further up, created something that almost looked like a ladder. Where you were standing you couldn't see the night sky because of the heavy foliage, but there could be seen a light coming from somewhere above the leaves. 

Taehyung who was standing just a little bit away from you, turned to you again and held out his hand towards you. His hand was pretty big, long elegant slender like fingers gesturing for you to take it. 

"We are almost there, but first I need you to trust me on one thing." his deep rather big eyes gazing into yours, glimpses of hope sparkling in them.
