Jungkooks plan

Walking down a well descended path, some smaller houses very soon came into view. The village was right below the palace. It was a lovely little place, and to believe that such a thing could even exist was more than amazing. 

Following the new guy called Jimin down the path, you soon passed by crowds of curious eyes following you warily. And who could blame them, neither you or any of your group members had had any contact with the natives since you arrived, so seeing them still act rather shy around any of you was not very strange at all. 

The two of you stopped right next under a ginormous tree with large green leaves, which threw a pleasant shade over your heads. The climate on the island was rather hot and kinda on the sticky side, so being under some shade felt nice. Gesturing for you to sit down, Jimin then disappeared for a brief moment. Though you didn't need to wait for too long, as he was soon back again carrying two bowls filled to the rim of different kinds of fruits. Some familiar and some not. 

"Ever had 'Dragon flares' before?" 

Plopping down beside you on the rather cushiony ground, Jimin picked up a fiery reddish odd looking fruit and held it out towards you. Staring at the fruit that you had never heard nor seen before, it was glistening in the light. 

"Is that some spicy fruit that will make me breath fire or what?" 

"Oh, sorry I think we are out of those." Jimin said with a smirk and put the fruit in your hand. "No it's actually really sweet, it's just called 'Dragon flares' because of their fiery red colour." 

Not hesitating any longer as your stomach would let out another growl, you decided to trust his words and bit into the red fruit. Your teeth had just barely sinked into its flesh when your eyes went wide by surprise. A mouth watering flavour filled your mouth, making your taste buds dance with happiness. Whatever this 'Dragon flare' was, it sure was like eating the most sweetest of ice creams. It pretty much melted on your tongue, it was weird but oh so satisfying. 

Seeing your reaction, Jimin snickered as he grabbed one himself. Your little eating session together was abruptly invaded though, as two familiar faces came walking up to where you was sitting. 

Taehyung and Jungkook was back.

The two guys joined you, Jungkook taking the spot beside you as Taehyung sat down next to Jimin. You tried to send a smile in their direction, but only got one from Jungkook in return. Taehyung barely threw you as much as a glance. Thinking that it was most probably nothing, you instead continued to munch on your fruit and let it slide past.

However, the weird atmosphere didn't go away after that, rather became worse...

With your stomach now happily stuffed, you were making your way back up to the palace alone. Everyone had gone separated ways after finishing off the meal, Tae and Jimin had disappeared to god knows where while Jungkook had told you that he needed to find Hoseok, so you had ended up go back on your own. Not that it was that much of a problem, you had managed to memories most of the ways around the palace anyway. Or well at least on the ones you had been to. 

Heading towards the room where all of you had been sleeping, you walked past the rather bad lit hallway, your feet echoing as they hit the stone floor. You passed by some guards on your way there, giving you stern stares which you avoided shyly. Then suddenly a thought popped up in your head. Ever since Tae and Jungkook had come back from earlier, something had been off, and you was more than sure that it was not just you that was overdramatising it. Taehyung had been acting extremely weird from what he normally did, even though you had not known him for that long it was still noticeable. His otherwise so cheerful and cheeky persona was like blown away, instead there was only this silent but ignorant guy left.
