Am I Falling In Love (yes this is a chapter)

Everyone was sitting in a circle, chatting while having breakfast later that morning. The group of explorers that you belonged to still didn't really feel that comfortable around the island's inhabitants, so instead they kept separated with each other during meals. 

Munching on some sort of bread, you threw a concerned glance at Jungkook who was sitting across from you. He was buried completely in a laptop that they had managed to save from the ship when landing on the Celestis. Seeming like it was in a somewhat good condition, Hoseok had commanded him to try to get life back into it again since he was the technician. Mentioning something about that they could then try to get some hint of where their location was with the help from the computer's special GPS mechanism.  

The brown haired man's quick fingers was moving over the laptop's exposed bottom, completely engulfed into the machine as he was focusing, unaware of the little glances that you had been sending him for the past thirty minutes. 

What you didn't know though, was that he had indeed been noticing them, it was just that he chose not to care. 

Jungkook had been trying his utterest hardest not to think more of what had occurred last night, but it turned out it was much more difficult than he had expected it to be. Pictures of Taehyung and y/n only kept popping up, along with his own imagination's wild scenarios of what might have happened after they disappeared into the night. The mere thought of that made him feel nauseous. 

You however, were not sure why your best friend was suddenly acting this cold against you. Once you had joined the others after going separated ways with Taehyung earlier, Jungkook hadn't spared you as much as a glance. Well if you didn't count the millisecond short eye contact that you had gotten when you had greeted the others cheerfully, but his eyes had almost immediately looked away from yours and back to what he was doing. 

So of course you had reason to be concerned.

The familiar sound of when a computer turns on was heard, and everyones heads turned to Jungkook who was sitting there grinning triumphantly at his success. He received some cheers from some of the others, and bowed jokingly. 

"Now let's see what this bad boy can do."

Jungkook cracked his knuckles and began typing something into the machine, his eyes staring intensely at the screen. Of course there was no WiFi available, but as this was the future and the computer was designed to be able to work even when no internet was reachable, he almost immediately managed to get online with just some few clicks. 

As he was typing in some codes for the GPS that would help getting your exact coordinations, a random article happened to pop up from the news feed that was working in the background that caught his attention. Taking a short break from what he was doing, he clicked on the title that had tickled his curiosity.

Fugitive Escapes High Secured Prison  the title of the article said in big bold letters. 

Skimming through it, Jungkook's eyes grew wider the more he read. Looking up at the others while still making sure to avoid your eyes, he said enthusiastically.

"Hey guys, check this news article out. Seems like some real shit is happening down there."

The others head once again turned at his direction and everyone was curiously waiting for Jungkook to continue. 

"Today police officer Mr. Lee reported about a warning that he asked us specifically to notify  everyone of. A dangerous criminal named Kang Minjun, who supposedly is in his mid 20's, was reported to have escaped Seoul's most highly secured prison for about a month ago and has still not been found. The fugitive is well known in the police registers, and have been accused for several crimes during the years.
