Kat's head buzzed as she felt herself being brought back to consciousness. She heard a couple of voices.
"Come on self! Open your eyes! You need to say your ok to them!" Kat thought, furiously fighting back the weariness. Successfully opening her eyes, Kat now saw four people crouching over her. Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and her sister, Kaylie. Dipper wiped his eyes real quick before hugging her, the others quickly joining in. Kat hugged them back, relieved to be ok.
"I thought Bill had made you..too far gone" Dipper exclaimed at last, his voice shaky, even though it was clear that he was trying to keep the strain out of his voice.
"I'm ok though..don't worry." Kat said, trying to sound as reassuring as she could. Kat tried to stand up. She was standing up for only a short moment, before she fell again, her legs buckling beneath her. The others looked at her with alarm.
"I may be a bit weak right now." Kat admitted, trying to hide her embarrassment. Kaylie rushed over, Dipper not far behind, but before she could help Dipper get Kat up, a voice sounded from the trees, thick with a southern accent that was obviously forced.
"Well well well..what do we have here." The voice said, sounding menacing. Dipper and Mabel made a protective wall in front of Kat, just in case.
"Gideon" Mabel said, gritting her teeth in the beginnings of a scoff. After a moment, a boy with high white hair appeared.
"Oh, I'm sorry Pines family. Did I interrupt you? Oh and who is this weakling" Gideon scoffed, glancing at Kat.
Kat was going to give him a sharp retort, but quickly thought better of it, and bit her tongue. Instead, she gave him a glare that shot daggers. Usually, a kid would look away, but Gideon didn't even flinch.
"Don't you dare" Kaylie warned, pushing her way towards Gideon, her lips curled back in a sneer.
"I don't think you have a option" Gideon said with a smirk. As if his words had summoned it, a large yellow machine with a wrecking ball came through.
"NO!" Dipper yelped the wrecking ball hit the Mystery Shack, which was only a few feet away from them.
Taking advantage of the moment, Gideon ran though the human wall, and took out a glowing thing. Gasping, Kat stared at it in alarm.
"Is that..Gideon how do you still have that?!" Mabel exclaimed. Gideon smirked.
"Bill repaired it."He said simply. As if reading Gideon's mind, Dipper hurled himself at Gideon.
"Don't you dare" Dipper yelled sharply, tackling Gideon.
"Oh, I will..Little Dipper." Gideon whispered in response. Taking out the amulet, it started to glow blue.
"AH!" Kat screamed as she felt herself become weightless. Kat glanced over, and saw that Mabel was in the same predicament. Kat wanted to fight it, but she was too weak. Heck, if she couldn't even stand up and walk, how was she gonna fight a force like this?
Kat tried her best though, but it wasn't enough. Dipper kept on trying to fight Gideon, but it looked like the Pines were on the losing side for once.
Suddenly feeling a tight pain in her chest, Kat screamed out, unable to repress it. She saw that Gideon was pressing hard against the amulet.
"STOP! Please!" Kat begged. Not even looking at her, Gideon held it tighter and tighter. Kat felt herself slipping away from consciousness, and dark spots clouded her gaze, until it finally loosened. She glanced over to see how Mabel was doing. Mabel had been released from the amulets grasp, but Kat still remained.
"You are coming with me. I want the Pines to live with the knowledge that they failed to protect a little weakling like you" Gideon said. Kat gasped.
"HELP!" Kat screamed as she was being dragged away. Kaylie lunged at Kat, hoping to save her, and so did the others, but it was to no avail. Kat was gone, and it was their fault.
-------------------------------------------------------
Kat was tied up in what used to be the Living Room, with the pitiful excuse of "We wouldn't want you getting away, would we" from Gideon. Kat spent the days watching what the Gleeful's did. Gideon's father was a cheery man, with high spirits. Kat learned that he owned the local car business, which made sense. Gideon's mom was a very sweet, and gentle women. She talked to Kat whenever she noticed Kat seemed lonely, or needed someone to talk to.
The only bad thing about her was that she was to scared of her own son to free Kat. Kat was also very tired, and multiple times it had been pointed out to her that she had bags under her eyes. Kat wanted to sleep, but it was hard. There was always some commotion from outside.
Kat suspected that they were building a huge robot of Gideon at this rate. Kat was glad Gideon even bothered to feed her, unlike poor Waddles, Mabel's pig. To tell the truth, Kat gave some of her food to the poor pig, who was unhappy without his owner.
A pang of sadness hit Kat like a wave of the ocean when she remembered the rumor that she had heard. The Pines twins, and Kaylie were being forced to leave Gravity Falls. Now, you'd think that Gideon would be happy with that, right.
Wrong. Gideon eventually confirmed what Kat had feared, and that he was going after Dipper and Mabel, and Kaylie. Kat was furious that Gideon couldn't leave them be. He had already forced them out of their home, what else would you want. Kat had a plan though. She was gonna sneak out as soon a Gideon left.
Luckily for Kat, Gideon left the next day, and Kat wriggled her way out of the rope. Making steps as light as falling snow, Kat snuck out of what used to be the Mystery Shack, and ran to the station, which, much to her luck, wasn't very far away. She just managed to get on a bus before it closed the door. She gazed at the people in the seats.
"Guys!" She gasped.
"Kat!"
