Kat's mind was whirling. How would she get out of this now. She and her sister were trapped, and there was no way out. Kat felt like a idiot. A absolute idiot.
Suddenly, Kat's mind clicked. Gravity shifted before she could do anything about her idea though. Bill disappeared, and the three kids were floating in midair. Gideon was going to take advantage of this, Kat was sure of it. She and her sister were very vulnerable, and even a blind person could tell that.
Gravity came back, just as Kat was about to have full out a panic attack. Now, there was the panic of a long fall.
"AAAAAH!" The trio screamed as they fell back to the ground. Kat fell with a thump on the couch. Kaylie and Gideon were not so lucky, landing on the floor. Kat ran over to her sister.
"Kaylie, are you ok?" Kat questioned, feeling anxious. Kaylie nodded, and got up, using Kat's hand to help herself to her feet. Everything seemed to go back to normal, except for the fact that Gideon was still here.
Thinking fast, Kat figured that if she called the police, they would come and get him back in his cell. She wasn't fast enough though. Kaylie grabbed the phone, and called the police. They would be there in about a minute, if Kat could stop Gideon from trying anything. Kat gazed at Gideon wearily. He wasn't really even trying to get up. Good.
"So, they just get him back in the cell?" Kaylie questioned, half to herself. Kat nodded, watching Gideon with narrowed eyes.
Suddenly, and knock sounded on the front door. Kat opened it, and was relieved to see the police standing there.
"He's in there" Kat said immediately, pointing to the living room. They gave her a slight nod, and went in, dragging Gideon out.
"Have a good day, officers!" Kaylie called as they left. Kat felt relief wash over her like a wave. Well, that was one problem taken care of. Now they had to get to the root of the other problem.
Gravity.
Kat sighed and walked back into the living room to be greeted with a loud noise coming from the kitchen. Kat exchanged a startled look with Kaylie, and they walked slowly into the kitchen. The vending machine was turned aside, and there was a doorway opened.
Shaking her head to stop the shock, Kat went in, Kaylie following close behind. It lead to what seemed like a very old and rusty elevator.
"I hope this thing doesn't collapse" Kat muttered to herself as they got in, and hit the bottom floor button. Kat did not like how unstable this thing seemed.
After what was like a lifetime to Kat, they reached the bottom. She ran out of the elevator, and took in the surroundings. In front of her, there was a active portal, and much to Kat's dismay, the Pines were in there.
"Oh no, we were so distracted we didn't notice this!" Kaylie exclaimed, voicing Kat's thoughts.
"I'm going in" Kat said, opening the door and stepping in, even though it felt like flying.
"KAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Dipper's voice came. Kat looked at him in horror. He was trapped by a pipe. Kat realized that Gravity had stopped working again.
"I'm here to help!" Kat retorted, noticing Mabel grabbing onto a button.
"3" The timer went.
Kat's heart raced as she flew towards the button.
"2"
"1"
And everything went white.
