Dipper felt no relief when they arrived at the shack. Kat was carried by him and Kaylie. Dipper felt a pang of sympathy when he glanced at Kaylie. She looked so worried. Dipper looked back down when Kaylie returned his gaze with a anxious look.
"I'm sorry" Dipper whispered quietly. Kaylie gave him a questioning look.
"I shouldn't have made the deal with Bill. That put EVERYONE in danger, and poor Kat had to pay the consequences" Dipper admitted, feeling more guilt creep up on him as the two preteens arrived in Kaylie and Kat's room. Kaylie looked at him.
"Dipper, it wasn't your fault. Mabel WAS acting like a real...rude person." Kaylie protested, her eyes flashing. Dipper lifted a eyebrow.
"Ok. Thanks for not being mad at me" Dipper said gratefully.
"No Problem" Kaylie replied as they lower Kat onto her bed. Dipper sighed with relief, and walked out of the room smiling before he heard a doorbell.
Dipper went to the front of the house and opened the door. It was a blond haired girl wearing purple.
"Pacifca." He said curtly.
"Hey Pines. Is that girl ok?" Pacifca asked gruffly. Dipper raised a eyebrow.
"Why would you want to know" Dipper spat.
"Because I wanted to know" Pacifca replied, her voice even. Dipper sighed in defeat.
"You see for yourself" Dipper answered. He let Pacifca in, and showed her the room. She looked at Kat, and Dipper was surprised to anxiety in her eyes.
"Pacifca?" Dipper questioned. Pacifca turned to him, surprised.
"Why are you really here" Dipper asked. Pacifca sighed.
"I wanted to see if she was ok. She fell so hard, and so quickly, I wanted to make sure that she was going to be ok." Pacifca admitted.
"That was kind of you" Dipper replied aloud, trying to hide his shock.
"There's more to her then meet the eye" Dipper decided in his thoughts. Aloud, Dipper sighed.
"Do you want to leave now that you've seen your answer?" Dipper asked gently. Pacifca nodded, her eyes looking troubled.
Dipper showed her to the door.
"I'm sorry for bothering you-" Pacifca began. Dipper shushed her.
"It's perfectly ok, Pacifca. That was really kind of you." Dipper said, blinking gratefully at her. Pacifca smiled, and waved as she left the porch and disappeared into the woods.
"There is a LOT more to that girl then meet the eye" Dipper muttered, thinking that again for the second time. Dipper smiled and went into the living room.
"Night everyone!" Dipper called as he walked out and went upstairs.

Mabel was sitting on her bed, her eyes narrowed. She didn't want to talk to anyone. She had locked the door.
Suddenly, there was a knock. Mabel felt scared for a moment before a voice yelled.
"Mabel, it's me. I kinda need to sleep." Dipper yelled. Oh, so it was Dipper. Her idiot brother. Rolling her eyes, Mabel opened it. Dipper glared at her before going in his bed, and turning the light off.
Mabel stayed awake for a lot longer, her thoughts worrying her.
Would things stay cold between Dipper and her over this?
