A breeze went through the air, making it more chilly then it had been before. Kat shivered. She didn't know where she was. The last thing she remembered was closing her eyes there on the stage of the Gravity Falls theater, and feeling the cold finally go away.
"Hello?" Kat called, shaking a little. Even in..whatever this place was, she was weak. Kat sighed. She had to admit, it had been a little stupid to burst into the room with Bill in it without a plan. Kat sighed. She missed her world, and her family. Kat paused, freezing.
That had been the first time in a long time since she got to Gravity Falls that she had thought about her family. Kat realized with a jolt of shock that she had forgotten about her world, and her family. Kat winced, guilt creeping up on her. Kat sighed, and sat down.
As soon as she sat down, a flickering light flashed. Kat jumped up, fear making its way in her. Kat stood in a defensive position. Well, the best she could do, considering.
When the light stopped being blinding, a familiar being floated in front of Kat. Kat gasped.
"Kill." She whispered, unable to repress a shudder. Bill's brother. Was he here to gloat, or just to be rude.
"Yeah yeah, call me Adam. Kill is Bill's nickname for me" Kill said with a roll of his eye. He snapped his fingers, and to Kat's surprise, he was in a human-like form. He actually didn't look as creepy now. Kat decided to let a little of her guard down, since he didn't seem to be wanting to make trouble.
"Why are you here then, Adam?" Kat asked, exasperated. Adam chuckled.
"I wanted to remind you about your family, and the wish you made. That star, by the way was me. Believe it or not, but somehow Bill and I exist in your dimension. Out of sheer Boredom, I made your wish come true. Are you happy?" Adam explained, pacing back and forth, waving his hands about as he spoke.
"I-is my family ok?"Kat asked reluctantly. Adam's eyes widened with interest. He hesitated for a moment. Kat held her breath.
"Yes. Don't worry, I made time not pass, don't worry. In your world, time is on a standstill, if you will. Nobody will worry." Adam assured Kat. Kat found herself sighing with relief.
"Ok..but I assume you didn't just here to tell me that, right?" Kat asked, narrowing her eyes. There had to be something, like a catch.
"No, it's ok. I will help you though. My younger brother can be...horrible." Adam said, somewhat apologizing. He snapped his fingers, and Kat felt a bit stronger.
"Thank you!" Kat breathed. She was in shock. How could one family have one insane murderous child, and a perfectly reasonable and somewhat calm child. It didn't seem possible.
"Usually being stupid and insane runs in the family." Kat mused.
"No problem. If ya need me kid, call my name!" Adam said, dipping his head. He snapped his fingers, and he disappeared in a flurry of flames.
