Dipper glanced at them warily, and Kat felt uneasy.

"I think I have a solution, but you guys won't like it" Dipper said, quickly shutting the journal with a flick of his hands.

"What do we have to do?" Kaylie asked. Kat felt a little bit of the same confusion, even though she felt like she should know everything that was going on for some weird reason. Shrugging the feeling off, Kat looked at Dipper expectantly.

"We have to create a 3 person harmony. It says preferably girls" Dipper explained with a scoff. Mabel glanced at Kat and Kaylie.

"I don't sing" Kaylie grumbled, but got up anyway. Mabel turned to Kat.

"Ok" Kat agreed. Mabel smiled, and dragged the karaoke machine out onto the roof with them, and looked at it.

"What song?" Kaylie asked. Kat face palmed.

"Does it matter? Let's just do this!" Kat said, shooting her sister a look.

The music started, and Kat got a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"Really Mabel. This song?"Kat thought. Sighing, she sang.

"Friday night, and we're gonna party 'til dawn. Don't worry, Daddy, I've got my favorite..dress on? Mabel, this song sucks!" Kat said aloud, glancing at Mabel.

"Roll in to the party, the boys are lookin' our way. We just keep dancing', we don't care what they say! And all the boys are gettin' up in my face–" Mabel cut off in a scream as a zombie got up in her face. Dipper punched it away.

"Guys, we have to sing together, or it's not going to work!" Mabel insisted.

"Fine" Kat muttered. Sighing, she joined in again.

"Boys are a bore, let's show 'em the door." Kaylie sang.

"We're takin' over the dance floor! Oh-oh! Girls do what we like!" The three sang together.A sound wave went through the clearing, and a few zombies were destroyed.

"Oh-oh! We're taking over tonight! Oh-oh! Girls do what we like! Oh-oh! We're taking over tonight!"They sang more.

"We're queens of the disco! Oh-oh! Girls do what we like! Oh-oh! We're taking over tonight!" They were really getting into it now.

"Takin' over tooniiiiight!" Kat sang. As she did, a zombie climbed onto where Dipper was.

"Ah!" Dipper screamed.

"DUCK!" Mabel screeched as she shot it with the confetti cannon. Kat sighed with relief as she stared at all the dead zombies on the ground.

"PINES! PINES! PINES! PINES!" Stan, Mabel and Dipper chanted. Kat smiled a little. Kaylie walked over and hive-fived her.

"How are you feeling?" She asked. Kat lifted a eyebrow.

"Fine" Kat replied, confused.

"Ok" Kaylie said quickly. She then turned around to leave Kat's side.

"I'm sorry about this, guys. I totally ruined everything." Dipper said, sighing and lowering his head in disappointment at himself.

"Dipper, are you kidding me? I got to sing karaoke with some of my two favorite people in the world, and I heard you guys singing along back there!  No party could ever top that!" Mabel said, hugging Dipper, Kat, and Kaylie.

"Kids, listen. This town is crazy. So you need to be careful. I don't know what I'd do with myself if you got hurt on my watch. I'll let you hold on to that spooky journal, as long as you promise me you'll only use it for self-defense, and not go looking for trouble." Stan broke the silence.

"Okay, as long as you promise me that you don't have any other bombshell secrets about this town." Dipper swiftly replied.

"Promise." Stan said.

"Promise" Dipper replied coolly. As Kat looked closer, she could see that Dipper's fingers were crossed.

"Wow, Dipper." Kat thought to herself. Kat yawned, and she realized just how tired she actually was.

"I'm going to get some shut-eye. You guys good down here?" Kat asked wearily.

"Yeah. You go get some sleep." Stan dismissed her. With a grateful glance back at Stan, Kat went to her room, and collapsed onto it, relishing the warmth, and welcoming the inky blackness that enfolded her.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hello?" Kat called. She was in a weird space-like place again, and she didn't know why. A flash appeared, and when Kat's vision recovered, she gasped.

It was Bill Cipher.

"What do you want" Kat growled, bringing up a defensive stance, not that it would do much against a being this powerful.

"A lot of things, but tonight, I just want you to deliver a message." Bill replied, not losing his eerie calmness.

"And what if I don't deliver the message" Kat hissed. Bill looked thoughtful for a moment, and then his eyes turned dark.

"Then I'll make sure to torture you in a way you won't like." Bill growled. Kat's eyes widened in alarm.

"What is the message then" Kat asked at last.

"Changes are coming, and I will have my revenge on the Pines and their friends soon" Bill muttered. He grew more faint, and Kat knew that the dream was fading.

Before it went away completely, there was a flash of eyes, and they were yellow.
