Kat opened her eyes and groaned. Everything looked hazy and blurry for a second, before her vision got used to everything. Kat instinctively reached for her pocket, but her journal was out of it. She glanced over to see it sprawled on the floor a few feet away, but before she could get it, a figure picked it up.
"Who's that?" Dipper asked the question she was about to ask.
"The Author of the journals-My Brother" Stan breathed out as he got up to go hug his brother.
Kat felt like she was going to faint, and also, once again, got those strange feelings that she should know what was happening, but didn't know why. Shaking her head clear of these thoughts, she prepared to confront the two Stans.
"Um, hello? Quick question: What the hey-hey is going on here?" Kat asked, not hesitating to keep in her questioning tone.
Stan and his brother exchanged a look, except Stans brothers one was softening.
"Stanley, there are children down here?" He asked. It took a minute for those words to hit Kat like a pack of bricks, but Dipper beat her to it.
"Stanley? I thought your name was Stanford" Dipper pointed out. Kat noticed Stans brother grow angry again.
"So you not only took over my house, but then you stole my name!" Stans brother yelled.
"Ford, I was trying to get you back for the last thirty years! I had to stay here, and I needed the townspeople to not suspect that anything was out of the normal." Stan pleaded.
Kat sighed. This was a sibling fight, but one of epic proportions, in her mind.
"Well, maybe if you tell us what happened, you'll understand better, urm-Grunkle Ford" Mabel suggested. The two men looked at her, but then nodded slowly in agreement, and sat down on a metal thing that had fallen down.
"Well, it started when I was going to collage. Stanley accidentally messed up my project, and ruined my chances of getting into the collage I wanted. Thats when I went to Backupsmore, and studied. Then, after that, I went to Gravity Falls." Ford explained.
"Then, I got a letter from him telling me to come. I thought I'd finally reconsole with my brother after all those years, but he fell into the portal, that was accidentally activated. I stayed here, posing as him. In the daytime, I was Stanford Pines, but at night, I was down there, trying to get my brother back" Stan concluded.
Kat felt bad for both of them, however..
This was going to be a bit of a hard thing to work out.
