Kat went outside, and ran into the forest, tears now forming and streaming on her cheeks. She was so upset. All she wanted to do was help, and she was treated harshly like that. Kat didn't know what she had done wrong. She had been good, and was willing to be of service to Ford and Dipper, for their research. In fact, Kat had been in as many paranormal situations as Dipper himself, most likely.

Kat really just wanted to crawl into a abyss and hide before her stupid, stupid, stupid self decided to have a little revenge party.

Why Kat! Why must this happen to her, and today. Now she probably wouldn't ever get the chance to prove herself, and help in the name of the paranormal....and helping Dipper was a really good added bonus.

Kat found a good place near the town, in case she needed to get some food, since she didn't really plan to go back to the shack for a while.

Kat sighed sadly, and fell down, sinking to her knees with soft, muffled quiet sobs

"This is perfect, and exactly according to plan" A echoing voice sounded, satisfied. The other figure nodded, by looked a bit guilty, and started to try to leave.

Dipper was out searching, as he had left only a minute or so after Kat had. Dipper was really worried. He was reaching town by now, which means Kat had gone pretty far by Dipper's standards.

"Kat! Kat!" Dipper called, his concern only growing by the minute. He wasn't even looking where he was going at this point, because he wasn't even really into town just yet, and bumped into Pacifica Northwest.

"Oh, Pacifica, I'm so sorry!"  Dipper exclaimed, grabbing Pacifica, and helping her up. Pacifica's face turned red as he lingered on her hand for just a moment too long.

"Oh..sorry" Dipper mumbled, instantly disconnecting their hands. Pacifica still looked flushed, but didn't say anything. The duo just stood there in awkward silence until Pacifica started up a conversation.

"Dipper, I was just looking for you, but...why are you out here?" Pacifica asked, genuinely curious.

"I was looking for Kat, actually. My...um..grunkle..was a bit too rough on her earlier when she offered to help with the supernatural stuff we do." Dipper confessed. Pacifica gave him a sympathetic look.

Wow has Pacifica really changed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pacifica felt bad for feeling jealous, even though she didn't even know why she felt jealous in the first place.

Then she remembered. Pacifica had finally accepted her feelings for Dipper after when she had helped him out with Kat that time, and after he helped with the ghost in Northwest Manor.

That's why she had to find him.

"Pacifica, are you alright? Is there something you needed to talk to me about? No more ghosts have tried to kill you this week, have they?" Dipper attempted a joke. Pacifica laughed drily.

"Nope, it's j-just...D-d-dipper....this is really hard for me too say.." Pacifica sputtered, silently cursing herself for not talking like a normal person.

"What is it, Pacifica?" Dipper's voice softened.

"I-i have a crush on you Dipper"

"I-i have a crush on you Dipper"

Kat's heart sunk, though she knew she had no right to be grieving over this. She had heard the voices, and was moving to them, but this stopped her. Grief made way to  anger. She could feel the ice in her eyes as she burst out, tears spilling.

"WHAT!" Kat choked out, not able to manage anything else. Pacifica looked a mix of shock and anger.

Dipper gasped, and reached out to her with his hand. Kat forced herself to push it away, and turn around forcefully, showing her anger and grief.

"Kat-" Dipper sputtered out.

"No!" Kat hissed. She spun around to look Dipper in the eye.

"It's fine for you!" Kat waved her hands, and fixed a emotional expression on Dipper.

"It's fine to flirt!" Kat spat, tears streaming down her face. She pointed a accusing finger at Dipper.

"It's Fine!" Kat turned around, only to give Dipper Pines a ice cold glare through tears.

"'Til someone gets hurt"

And with that, Kat ran away again, sobbing.
