(Don't ask about the previous chapter. Just. Please.)

Since the term Destoryer of Worlds/Protector of Worlds and Crusher/Guardian was originally coined by me back in Hear Me Now when it was still called Error Cares, I decided to explain this. Why? Because, as I was trying to calm myself down from doing things I found many, many, many people using that term rather commonly. So, I decided to explain a few headcanons I never was able to tell and the history how I made the terms in the first place.

Let's start with history first. How did I come up with those names? Don't laugh at this, but...

It's also based off the Terraria boss under the same name.

Surprise, surprise, motherfucker.

How I coined the Protector of Worlds was rather easy, just a quick idea. Guardian I already had, so I made Crusher rather easy as well (actually, that was the most difficult.)

As the names imply, the Destroyer destroy and ruin the worlds (aus), while the Protector protect and repair the worlds. Crushers do their thing trying to stop the Protector and Guardians, and vice versa.

A headcanon I still use but never explained was, if the Destroyer of Worlds does not destroy for a while, they start to have pains in their soul until they destroy a certain amount of AUs. If it is prolonged, it will eventually cause them to be handicapped, unable to move due to the pain. This serves as a warning sign that they need to destroy, for if they don't, the AUs will collide and eventually collapse, therefore the end of that entire multiverse itself.

Another headcanon is that if the Destroyer cannot complete these task for whatever reason, their Crushers can take the task upon themselves. While not as effective of keeping the collision disaster away, it can at least lessen their pain to a functioning level. Another thing is that if the Destroyer dies, either their kin or their Crushers can take over with the title of Destroyer of Worlds

The opposite of a Destroyer of Worlds is a Protector of Worlds. The opposite of a Crusher is a Guardian. The same sort of rules apply (except for that the Protector feels pain if AUs get destroyed and only get healed when it is fixed).

If a Protector is killed without someone to inherent, the multiverse will collapse near immediately. Lesser known, if the Destroyer is killed, that too will happen but takes some time.

How do the tables turn?

Take a closer look at these: Ink's ink blot on his cheek and Error's faux tears. These aren't coincidences. These are markings. If Error and Ink switched places, Error's tears would turn into two golden swirls, one coming from his cheek and connecting to his eye socket and the other on his temple. Ink's splatter would turn into a black question mark from his forehead down to his nasal passage.

Crushers and Guardians can turn tables as well, but not as often and Guardians more likely. Usually, they do what they believe is "right" but in fact it is wrong, and soon turn corrupt.

Some of these I still use, but until I really thought about it I had forgot some of these until I coughed them up.
