Hi, yeah, another author's note. Save your groaning for the end though, this is something that, if you read my stories, you need to know.
Okay. I have no idea how or why this book got popular. I don't even know half of the people who read my stuff, as only part of my readers vote and fraction comment. This being said, I feel I must apologize for those new readers and my old readers alike.
I'm sorry that I have to say this, but I believe to be leaving the Dreamswap fandom.
Note that nothing is written in stone. Maybe a fic or a drawing on Kai's birthday will bring my interest in the fandom back to life? Maybe a friend will show me something they are excited about and I'll decide "fuck it, I'm staying." Who the fuck knows. But I feel I must say this. Perhaps the last fic I'll make, will be on Kai's birthday. Not necessarily a gift, but a fic nonetheless.
I don't find the spark in me to write Dreamswap anymore. I don't get motivated to read Dreamswap - just scrolling the Ao3 tag for Dreamswap make me bored as all hell. There's no interest. There's just "oh this is Dream and this is Error and they do this... okay maybe a little ooc moving on."
I haven't been able to write anything much during this. Even with the help of others, I can't manage to write the next chapter of True Angel. Or rewrite the first two chapters. Do you know how much I've written for the edits? 5 paragraphs. The next chapter? Only bits and pieces and not the entire thing to make the story comprehensive. Even my next Swapscreen I've been working on for two weeks, and the only reason it's so long is because I had recycled an old vent fic that was never published into it.
While I have met many people in the fandom it's hard to call Dreamswap home when really, it does not feel like it.
If my mind does change, by some sort of miracle, then I'll delete this chapter and hopefully more fics will be uploaded here. However, if not - well, I'll put this book as completed, put down all my drafts, plans for the drafts and the ideas i had that I never wrote down, and that'll be the end of it. However, if you're a fan of anime, don't fear! Currently my new obsession is BNHA (Boku No Hero Academia), and I might just make a book for oneshots for that fandom, similar to this! I've had a change of heart and will be happy to watch anime similar to Blue Exorcist, Magici or BNHA as long as you give me a brief summary of the anime!
