Michaels POV
When I woke up Latice was still lying on my chest sound asleep. She usually doesn't sleep as long as me and usually has to wake me up. There must've been a lot in her mind. Hopefully she tells me what's the matter cause I don't want it to ruin her mood. I won't wake her up. I will wait until she gets up so it's not like I'm forcing anything on her, so I turn on the tv and wait.

Latices POV
I open my eyes to see Michael chilling in bed watching On My Block looking focused as ever. I grin and lean in for a kiss. ''Morning princess'' he says whilst pausing the show.
''Morning , how are you'' I reply. He doesn't respond but directs a question towards me.
''Baby listen I don't wanna force you to say anything but yesterday I knew something was on your mind after you spaced out on me. And don't try and say that it was old friends because if it was you wouldn't look as terrified''

I take a deep breath. I do need to get this off my chest but I don't wanna stress him out. It's like Michael read my mind as he then said ''look if you think that this will scare me or worry me then don't. Cause all I wanna do is help you and hopefully we can figure this out'' I stay silent for a while contemplating whether I should tell Michael or not.

After a while I finally spoke up ''it's my ex''
''What about him?'' Michael replies with confusion plastered over his face. I sigh.
'' He messaged me last night after the movie''.
Michael turns his full body towards me ''Saying what?'' I don't say anything but I grab my phone from the bedside table, open up the chat between me and Nicky and hand him the phone.

As Michael reads the chat he shows no emotions and that scares me. He hands me back the phone then says ''What happened between you two?'' I frown then look up at him ''it all started three years ago back in London ...''.

So I explained everything to Michael and my emotions were all over the place. One minute I was filled with anger then the next minute I'm crying my eyes out. Michael didn't say anything whilst I was talking but just comforted me when I needed it.

Once I was done he then said ''who the fuck does he think he is messaging you know. He fucking cheated on you and he has the audacity to come and message you. He's one lucky motherfucker to be living in London cause if he lived here I would beat his a...''  
''BABE RELAX OKAI PLEASE! DONT WORRY ABOUT HIM. PLEASE DONT SAY SOMETHING YOU WILL REGRET. Please...''

Michaels POV
I realised how I had acted and regretted it instantly. I embraced Latice into my chest whispering in her ear ''I'm sorry princess I didn't mean to act like that. Please forgive me I didn't mean...'' Suddenly I was cut off by the vibration of Latices phone. She picks it up and looks at it. ''It's him he's calling'' she says.

Latices POV
My heart instantly stopped. Why was he calling. ''Pick it up'' Michael said his voice stern and emotionless. My fingers trembled as I hit the answer button.

''Wwhat do you want Nicky?''
''Hey boo you miss me?'' He replied
''Fuck off Nicky I don't want you anymore'' I replied trying to boost my confidence. 
''Aww come on when are we going to get back together, you know you miss this pipe''

Michaels POV
My blood started to boil. I snatched the phone off of Latice and said
''Hey listen dude Latice don't want yo ass anymore so leave it at that okai''. At first we didn't hear a reply and all we heard was him chuckling.

''Aye Latice your wid sum American prick now oh my daze.'' That got my temper rising.
''LISTEN HERE YOU MOTHERFUCKER LEAVE LATCIE ALONE IR I WILL FUCK YOU UP''

''Aye who the fuck you talking to big man don't let me come fuck you up you get me'' he replied all cocky.
''Alright dude come on then I bet your too scared'' I didn't care who was around me all I was focused on was talking to Latices ex.
''Aye pussywhole who the fuck do you think your talking to. You bess watch out cah mans will come to America and mess you up''
''Do it'' I replied
''Ight day no more in a bit Latice'' he chuckled and ended the call. All of a sudden I felt a harsh slap across my face that bought me back to reality.

''OW WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT!!'' I yelled whilst rubbing my throbbing cheek.
''ARE YOU THAT STUPID MICHAEL!YOU DONT KNOW WHO THIS BOY IS. YOU MUST BE CRAZY TO THINK THAT YOU CAN STAND A CHANCE AGAINST HIM'' she replied.
''What do you mean I'm crazy. You tryna say I'm weak?''
''Oh my fucking gosh Michael no. But Nicky is a badass and has no remorse what so ever. Do you understand that'' she replied
I had just realised what I had done. I hadn't only put myself in danger but also Latice. Fuck knows how far this dude will go to get Latice.

''Shit baby I'm sorry I fucked up badly'' I place my head in my hands but then feel Latices soothing touch on my back.
''Don't worry baby it was the spare of the moment. He won't come near us I promise. We just have to lie low for a while'' she said.
But was that really true?...
