Steve had found Amy's doctor, tried to get her out, but the doctor insisted that Amy stay for at least a month. When Steve told her this, she complained and whined. Steve rolled his eyes and promised Amy he would always visit her.

Now came the day when Amy was finally able to leave. Steve was on his way to pick her up with a friend.

"Steven, you're going to drive me insane! Why haven't you kissed this girl yet?" Danny looked at Steve.

Steve shut his eyes and sighed.

"Not now, Danny."

"Oh, it's going to be now!" Danny replied. "I know you like her. Heck, I'm pretty sure you love her."

"And how could you possibly know that?" Steve asked.

"Because, I saw the way you looked at her. The fear you held in your eyes as you were watching her slip away. You where terrified."

"Anybody would be." Steve said.

"No, you showed something different. Something I haven't seen in a long, long time."

Steve sighed once again. He was denying what Danny was telling him. But, deep down, Steve knew Danny was right. Why hasn't he kissed Amy yet? Why hasn't he showed her his love? Well, he was terrified she didn't feel the same. Everyone is terrified of that.

A few minuets later, Steve was pulling up to the hospital. His heart was racing for some odd reason. But, he couldn't tell why.

Knock knock

"Oh thank god!" Amy breathed once she saw Steve and Danny enter her room. "I'm so ready to leave this place."

Steve smiled.

Amy stood up from the bed. She had her floral dress on. Steve had brought it a few days ago when she was sleeping.

"Wow," Danny smiled as he walked up to Amy. "You look good." He wrapped his arms around her and gave Amy a soft hug. When he let go and stood back, Amy's eyes landed on Steve.

Steve smiled at her and watched as Amy came up to him to give him a hug. He hugged her back.

"Now please, take me home." Amy laughed.

Steve rolled his eyes at the girl and chuckled.

"Sure, but I'm driving."

Steve had dropped Danny off at his house. Then, he drove towards his own. Amy was fast asleep in the passengers seat next to him. Steve smiled to himself.

Steve pulled up to his house and killed the engine. He looked over at Amy. She was still asleep. Steve lightly shook the girl. She didn't wake. Steve sighed and got out of his truck. He walked over to Amy's side and opened her door. He carefully unbuckled Amy and carried her out of his car up to his front door. Amy moved slightly and placed her head underneath Steve's chin. This sent goosebumps all over his skin. Steve carefully opened the front door and closed it behind him. He sat Amy on the couch and covered her body with a blanket. Amy stirred in her sleep.

"AMY!" Steve shouted. He pounded on the door that kept him locked from her.
