"This is what you call fun?" Ashley yelled over the loud music.

"Yes!" Veda yelled back as she danced.

"Hey V!" Ashley yelled. "I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I might know a better place."

"Where's that?" Veda asked.

"Follow me."

"This is fun to you?" Veda asked as they neared a few lit up picnic tables.

"Yes." Ashley replied. "Don't worry, you'll like it."

"What can I get for you two ladies?" Kamekona asked.

"We'll have the large basket of shrimp, please." Ashley said.

"Anything for the pretty ladies." Kamekona replied as he walked back to the food truck.

Ashley giggled. "Such a flirt."

"You know," Veda started. "This isn't that bad."

"See, I told you it'd be fun." Ashley smiled.

"Oh, hey, Ashley!" Flippa smiled at the girl from the food truck.

Ashley turned around and laughed.

"Hi, Flippa. How are you?"

"I'm good, everything's cool." Flippa was also a big flirt as well.

"I'm glad to hear that." Ashley smiled. She then turned back to her friend.

"How many people do you know?" Veda laughed. Ashley laughed with her.

"Too many, I guess."

"You're actually taking me to Kamekona's?" Steve said shocked.

"Yeah, why not?" Danny shrugged his shoulders. "It's one of your favorites, right?"

"That it is, pal. That it is."

"Ah, Commander McGarrett!" Kamekona smiled. He had just gotten back into his food truck. "What brings you here?"

"Food." Danny replied.

"What floats your boat?" Kamekona asked.

"Anything from you, Kamekona." Steve said. "Anything will do. Except the rolls. None of those, please."

"I thought you liked the rolls?" Kamekona asked.

"Well, they were okay." Steve replied.

"What ever you say, McGarrett." Kamekona began to cook.

Danny and Steve walked towards the nearest table and sat down.

"See, fun, right?" Danny asked with a smirk.

Steve chuckled.

"Sure, Danny."

Behind Steve, he could hear a couple of girls laughing.

"Looks like they're having a blast." Danny said as he looked at the two girls.

"Danny, don't stare, you'll scare them." Steve said with a smile.

Danny rolled his eyes and stopped his staring.

"Here you go, gentlemen." Kamekona set down a big basket of shrimp in front of the two. "Enjoy."

"Thanks, Kamekona." Danny and Steve said. The man nodded and headed towards his truck.

"This is really good." Danny replied. And he wasn't one for Kamekona's food.

"Wow, did you just say, this is good?" Steve laughed. "Who are you and where's my friend?"

"Haha, whatever." Danny rolled his eyes again.

Steve shook his head and laughed again.

"Goodnight, Kamekona! Night Flippa!" A woman yelled out behind Steve.

"Night ladies." Both men said in unison.

Steve turned around to see two women leaving their picnic table. Both of their backs were to him.

Something gleamed in the soft candle light. Steve got up from his table and walked towards theirs. He picked up the object and saw that it was a phone.

"Steven, What did you find?" Danny asked.

"One of them forgot their phone." Steve replied. "I'll be right back." Steve took off in the direction the girls had left.

"Excuse me!" Steve ran up to the two. They turned around.

"You forgot your—" Steve stopped and stared at a familiar face. Ashley. The moonlight made all of her features more beautiful than ever.

"My What?" Ashley asked.

"Oh, um," Steve chuckled nervously. "You forgot your phone." Steve handed her the device.

Ashley grabbed her phone and realized who the man was. It was Steve.

As Ashley took her phone back, it slipped out of her hands and fell towards the ground.

Both Ashley and Steve went for the phone. Their heads collided and both stood up quickly.

"Sorry," Ashley blushed. "I always seem to hurt you." She laughed nervously.

"It's alright." Steve rubbed his forehead. He bent down and grabbed Ashley's phone. "Here."

"Thanks." Ashley took her phone and placed it in her back pocket.

"Um... Ashley," Steve started. "I was wondering, if you're not busy. If you'd like to—if you want—"

"Yes, a date sounds nice." Ashley smiled.

Steve sighed and smiled. "Great, um, I'll pick you up at 8 tomorrow."

"Here's my address." Ashley handed Steve a slip of paper. "See you tomorrow." Ashley couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. Maybe this could be her second chance.

"Yeah, see you." Steve replied as he watched the girls disappear.

Once Steve got back to the picnic table, Danny noticed the smile on his friends face.

"What's with you?" Danny asked.

"I've got a date tomorrow." Steve stood up straight and smiled.
