Steve woke up to a cold, dark room. Amy was by his side on a rusted bed. Her wound was still bleeding. No one had bothered to fix it.

Steve went to move towards Amy when he was jerked back. He looked at his wrists and saw chains.

"Glad that you're awake Commander McGarrett." The man that had taken Steve and Amy was standing in front of them. His mask was off.

Steve shook his head in anger. "You son of a bitch." Steve jerked forward only to be jerked back by the chains around his wrists. "How could you—how could you do this to your own daughter?"

Jacob laughed. "Oh commander. She's not my daughter. I have no idea who the hell she is. My name's not even Jacob. It's Hank."

"Where are we?" Amy slowly sat up against the cold wall. She took in slow breaths. Her eyes slowly closing and opening from time to time.

"Glad you could join us, Amy." Hank smiled at the girl.

"Dad?" Amy's eyes grew wide with shock. "What-what are you doing?"

"I'M NOT YOUR FATHER!" Hank shouted. Amy jumped.

"What?" Amy whispered. "But, you have to be. You must be drunk..."

"This face, his face, it's just so I could get close to you. Your real father's dead in a ditch." Hank looked at Steve. "And who's to blame for that? Hmm?"

Amy looked at the man in confusion. Then, she looked at Steve.

"What's he talking about?" Amy asked.

"I-I don't know." Steve said confused.

"Steve..." Amy had tears in her eyes. "What is he talking about?"

"Yeah, Steve. What am I talking about?"

{Flash Back}

"Alright men, we leave at 1800! Get your gear ready."

"Yes sir!" The men shouted.

"McGarrett," a tall man with gray hair was walking towards Steve. "I'd like to talk to you for a second."

"Yes sir." Steve replied and followed the man to a far away distance.

"I want you on my team, for this mission." The man asked.

"Sir—"

"Just call me Jacob, son."

"Jacob, can I ask why?"

"Joe wants some new eyes watching you in action. He wants me to "babysit" you, really." Jacob replied.

"Why?" Steve asked.

"He couldn't make it. Told me something came up." Jacob sighed.

"Well, it's an honor to be working with you sir—I mean Jacob. I've heard a lot of good things about you."

"Glad that you have." Jacob smiled. "Come on, our flight leaves soon."

"Do you remember, Commander?" Hank asked. "Are those memories resurfacing?"

"Shut up." Steve growled.
