Chapter 24: Do It For The,

Jasper and I were following the tire treads until we had to catch our breath. We were both starting to get extremely worried about Viv and Aaron. Of course, I kept my hopes up that they were still alive.

I twitched my ear when I heard someone call out mine and Jasper's names. I turned around and it was my uncle.

"Fluff, what are you doing here?!" he demanded, his fur bristling. I didn't like it when Uncle Nick snapped, but I kept my composure. "Jasper and I wanna help!"

My uncle face palmed. "Fluff, this is way too dangerous. You could get killed. I lost Marian and Dawn; I won't lose you nor Vivian; not like them.

I lowered my ears and my gaze. Sometimes he gets a tad bit over protective of Viv and I. We can take care of ourselves.

"Slick, let Vix and Jas help." I pricked my ears in shock when Judy stood up for me. She usually sticks with what my uncle says.

Uncle Nick looked at Judy in shock. "What?! Why Carrots?!"

Judy sighed. "You know how much Vixy and Jasper care for Vivian and Aaron. Their not the type of mammals to sit and wait. They would literally do anything to help their friends in need." the bunny said sternly.

My uncle hesitated before he agreed and honestly, that felt good. I had a way to save my boyfriend and cousin. Wait.....did I just call Aaron my boyfriend???

Well, I think that he is.

Soon enough, we reached the place where the black truck that more than likely took Aaron and Vivian outside an abandoned building.

The doors were barred and the windows were high.

"We'll never be able to make it up there." Jasper said.

I was about to agree when a sturdy pole, kind of like a pull up beam I've seen at school, not far behind that would help us get to a ledge. "Don't think too quickly like that Jas." I teased and quickly pulled myself up and on the ledge, the rest was easy climbing. 

"Come on!" I whisper yelled, my tail twitching. Jasper, Uncle Nick, and Judy were all right behind me.

'Almost there, Viv and Aaron. Hold on.'
