After rehearsal, there was a very bad rainstorm, so since Aaron did live in the area of town where it's less messy, he let me stay there for the night. No big deal, honestly. I do have other friends that like to jump on me and invite me for a sleepover right after school, so I always pack extra clothes just in case. However, two things; one, I was very reclusive and quiet for the rest of the day, which happens every time after I have a panic attack, and two, I HATE bad storms. It makes me anxious.

You see, back in Fox Hound, when I was like, five, there was a really bad rainstorm/tornado, which is another reason why my hometown is not the ideal place to live.

Anyways, we made it to Aaron's house and we mainly just relaxed. Both of us were on the couch, my head resting on his lap while he sat up, gently fiddling with my head fur. His dad called and asked if he or I wanted anything and we said sure, even though I wasn't feeling hungry, but Aaron insisted.

He moved his paw to my ear and gently stroked it, making me squirm in comfort a bit before sighing. After about a minute, he started to gently scratch it, me leaning into his paw more and closing my eyes, my tail wagging, and my left leg twitching.

Yes, I can be a big kit sometimes, give me a break!

"Goddamnit your so adorable," Aaron whispered, making me smile. "Sh-shut up." I stuttered, feeling comfort seep through me like a storm.

Slowly, he stopped scratching my ear and I just leaned my head more towards his stomach, humming softly. "Comfortable?" he asked sarcastically. "Shut up."

My remark made the two of us laugh before a loud crash of thunder sounded, making me squeak and flinch, wrapping my arms around Aaron and nuzzling his chest.

Aaron took a minute before wrapping his arms comfortingly around me. "Hey, it's okay, Vix. It's just a storm. It's not gonna hurt us." he murmured, gently rubbing my upper back and neck.

He hummed softly to me, helping me calm down. I slowly did and sighed, rested my head up against his chest and letting one of my paws rest on the other side, listening to his heartbeat and gently gripping his shirt, reapplying and returning my grip every so often. He sighed and kept me close to him, his arms lowering to my waist and pulling me closer to him.

I sighed softly and closed my eyes from comfort. I twitched my ears when I heard the door open and slightly opened my eyes.

"Hey, dad," Aaron said, keeping his arms around me. I don't think I could ask for a better boyfriend.

Aaron's dad, Ben, smiled at both of us. "Hey, son. Hello, Vixy."

I just twitched my tail in greeting, not trusting my voice at the moment. I kept my gaze lowered and Aaron whispered to me, "Hey, Vix, I'll be right back. Okay?" he murmured and I nodded, loosening my grip on him. He gently kissed my head before murmuring. "Try and eat something, okay?"

I nodded and sighed. "Okay." I murmured, guessing that he was going to explain to his dad what's up with me.

I watched as the two males went into a different room before sitting in silence and actually eating what Ben got us. Apparently, only one pizza place was open with this storm so I sighed and ate a slice. Not really doing anything.

I quickly got some water since I was a bit thirsty.....not that kind you dirty minded people!

I went back to the couch, still eating my food before hearing Aaron and his dad leave wherever they were. I've only been in her once, not counting this time, I only know where the living room, bathroom, kitchen and Aaron's room are, nothing else.

Aaron grabbed a slice of pizza and sat back next to me, gently wrapping his arm around me. "I explained to dad what happened with you," he murmured and I nodded.

Ben sat a little ways away from us. "So, Vixy, not a fan of bad storms, huh?" he asked.

Still feeling a bit shy and awkward, I nodded.

Ben chuckled. "Well, I get the feeling. Not my favorite either. As you should know, it was storming badly when Aaron, his mom and I found out about Brook."

I felt a wave of sympathy wash over me. Aaron had told me about how he felt when his little sister Brook died. I moved my free paw to hold the one on my shoulder, to which he gratefully held back.

Ben cleared his throat and smiled. "But, I'm glad to know that Aaron has found someone who keeps him on his feet." he chuckled.

I mainly just smiled and Ben sighed. "And, I think Aaron and I can understand your panic attack from today," he said sympathetically. I slightly smiled. "Th-thanks Mr. Black-mane," I said.

He chuckled. "Please, Vixy, just call me Ben."

I giggled a bit and Ben stood up. "Well, I'm gonna do some paperwork; see you in the morning, Aaron."

Aaron smiled. "Night, Dad."

I smiled at the two and cuddled a bit closer to Aaron. Aaron chuckled a bit and wrapped his arms around my stomach, sighed and nuzzling my neck. "Goddamn your so beautiful," he whispered, smiling.

I smiled back, blushing a bit. After a few minutes of silence, he asked, "Wanna watch some TV?"

I shrugged. "Ehh, why not?" I said.

He smiled and kept his arms around me, he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron playing. It was one of my favorite Marvel movies.

I sighed let my back press up against Aaron's chest, sighing.

He gently kissed my head. "I love you, Vix," he whispered.

I hummed and tilted my head upwards to peck his lips. "I love you too, goofball."

He smiled at his nickname and nuzzled my ear before we continued watching the movie. As another one came on, I started getting a bit drowsy and soon closed my eyes, falling asleep.
