This was requested by https://www.wattpad.com/user/Likea_Buchanan_Darcy. Message to requestee: Thank you so much for requesting this!!! I have never watched Gotham in my life, but didn't want to turn you down. So, I have spent the last couple of days researching and watching any clips I could find, and now I am in love with both Victor Zsaz and Anthony Carrigan, thanks a lot! But I had the most fun writing this and I hope you like it and that it fulfils the vision you had for it.

"So, uh, why am I here?" You asked Falcone, who had left out the purpose of your meeting. You were never close to your Father, so he wouldn't be calling you round for just a chit-chat. "Well it's certainly nice to see you too, (Y/N)! I have another assignment for you." You were an assassin, not a surprise really, considering you were the daughter of Falcone. He proceeded to give you the further details, and you were ready to leave, until... "oh, and, uh (Y/N)? I've assigned you a partner this time, hope that's not too much bother." He smiled a sickening, smug smile, and you were very tempted to punch it back into his skull. But you didn't.

You arrived cautiously, scanning the room with a gun in hand. You decided that there was nobody there, and put it away. Then, out of nowhere, came a man. You were just quick enough to pull your gun out before he pushed you to the ground. "You're fast, that's good." He said. He was a tall man, bald, dressed in black. "I'm Victor Zsaz." He introduced himself and stuck out his hand. "I'm (Y/N)... Falcone." You shook his hand and he then helped you up. "Just to set things straight, Mr Zsaz. I happen to work alone."

"You think I like this? No! I'd much rather work alone than be Falcone's babysitter." You decided then that you and Victor were not going to get along. "Babysitter?! Well, you won't need to worry about that, trust me!"

The job had finished and it was clumsy, to say the least. "I must say, I'm impressed."

"Well, Victor, I might be even better if you didn't keep stepping on my toes!"

The next day, your Father had called you in again. "So, what is it this time?" You heard footsteps and turned around. "No! No, Falcone. No! I won't do it again, I won't!" Standing beside you was, you guessed it, Victor Zsaz. "(Y/N), I have paired you up with Victor until further notice." Your mouth hung open from shock. "But, but." Even Victor had gone a little pale. "(Y/N), I'm a busy man, you must leave me." You stepped out of the building and regained some dignity. "Not a word, Zsaz. Not. A. Word."

A couple of jobs went past and you were learning to work as a team. "Well, (Y/N). Another day at the office." He was very humorous. He was actually quite a pleasant person and his skill was second to none. But he wasn't a show off, he let you share the spotlight. Your phone buzzed, snapping you out of your thoughts:

(Y/N), I need to see you. Bring Victor along as well

Falcone

You scowled at the message, you had seen your Father too much in the last few weeks "Victor!" You called "We've been summoned."

Falcone kept it brief. "It's further notice time. You two need to split up. That's it. Hopefully I won't need to see you anytime soon." You felt like crying, but you didn't exactly know why. "It's about time, I didn't know how much more of Zsaz I could take." It was for the best. You tried hard to convince yourself that. You went your seperate ways and you had to try and just carry on as normal.

(Victor Zsaz's POV)

I was distracted. I couldn't afford to be distracted. I knew what I had to do. I had to do my job. My job. My job. My job! She was a cryer. "Love your dress." I couldn't do it. Not when I was like this. "Hey, lady, I'm sorry. I'm gonna have to take a raincheck. You understand, don't you? Thanks." I was on my way out when I checked my watch. "Who am I kidding? I've got time." BANG!

(Author POV)

You were bored. For the last few jobs you had had such fun, but now you were bored. Even when you had made a dozen killings... You saw something. You took out your gun. There they were! You pushed them to the ground and- "Victor! What brings you here?" You helped him to his feet. "I see your time with me has helped you improve, (Y/N). But you're still second best." You rolled your eyes, he hadn't changed at all. "Regarding why I am here, the truth is: I can't work without you. Well, I can work without you, but I don't want to, and I think that's the most important thing." You looked him in the eyes. "I've never been good at saying this, probably because I wasn't taught to, but, I like you too, Victor."
