Book of Villain One-Shots

Welcome to the family!(Loki X reader one-shot)

You and Loki had recently gotten married. It wasn't a big ceremony, but that's what you both had agreed on. You couldn't be happier.

   One day, you and Loki were in a library. Loki was engrossed in a book. "Loki..." you whispered. He nodded without looking up. "I would like to meet your family." Loki dropped the book, and it hit the floor noisily. "What?!!" You put a finger to your lips. "Shh. I said 'I would like to meet your family.'"

   You started walking out of the library together. "No! Nono. No. No. No!" You gave a sigh. "Why not?" You hadn't expected him to react this severely. "Because... No!"     "Oh, pleeaase! I would really like to."

   No matter what Loki said before, you had convinced him. You had been in Asgard before, but only in Loki's quarters. You had never gotten an actual 'tour'. It was stunning with all of its white stone buildings and golden archways. Loki had been babbling on about 'what to expect'. He was SO nervous.

   At one point Loki stopped walking and looked around. "Well, I'm sorry (Y/N), but it seems that nobody's in." You were upset, but at least Loki had tried. You took his arm and started to walk back. "BROTHER!" You both turned around to see a very excited Thor running towards you.

  Loki went as pale as a sheet and you couldn't help but smile. "And this must be lady (Y/N)." Thor picked you up and twirled you around, you started to giggle. "Loki has told me all about his brother, I am glad we were finally able to meet." You turned your head to see a still shaken Loki, so you gave him a reassuring wink. "What shall we do first?" Thor mused.

  You tried your best to follow after Thor, he was very excited. You held Loki's hand the whole way, though he still seemed on-edge. "You know (Y/N)," Loki whispered "we could just leave now. There's no shame in it." You gently hit him. "Nonsense! Why are you being so weird today?" Thor had stopped, and was staring at the two of you. "Well. We're here!" It was the seamstress'. Thor began to explain how he wanted to turn you into a real Asgardian today, and it did sound quite fun.

  When you entered the seamstress', your eyes went wide. Every gown was as beautiful  your wedding dress, some even more so. Thor was eager to help you choose, Loki less so. "What about this one?" Loki half-heartedly suggested a green dress. You screwed up your face "I don't think so."       
"I thought you liked green?" You pretended that you didn't hear Loki. "I don't see why you need a new dress anyway. There is nothing wrong with the clothes that you've got." While Loki had been talking, you had collected an armful of gowns. "Loki? I'm going to try on some of these dresses. Would you like to watch? Or will it just be Thor and I?"

  Loki was hesitant at leaving you alone with Thor, but decided not to help you. When you had finally chosen a gown, you showed Loki.

(Loki's POV)

She looked stunning. I smiled. Then I started to think, and my smile faded. Maybe she would've been happier as an Asgardian woman.

(Author's POV)

"Well? Don't just stare at me! What do you think?" You asked your husband. He seemed lost in thought. "Oh, yes. Very nice." You frowned. "Well I love it!"

  Loki was weird for the rest of the day aswell. After you had said goodbye to Thor, you turned to your husband. "What's wrong, Loki?" Loki was looking in the direction that Thor walked away. "Nothing." He wasn't very convincing. "Clearly. I guess that's why you've been acting up today." Loki feigned confusion. "I have not been acting weird." You were worried for him. "Loki, you know you can tell me anything." You put your arms around him, placing your head on his shoulder. "It's just, from what I've witnessed today, it seems you would have been happier as the bride of Thor." You tried to contain your laughter. "Loki, you know I am in love with you! Also, Thor. I mean, come on!" After hearing you say that, Loki joined in laughing as well. Loki took your hand in his. "You're right, (Y/N). What was I thinking?"

I meant to publish this not long after the Thor:Ragnarok film, but I got so stuck with it. But, I didn't give up, and here it is, hope you like it.
