Chantel
"What do you want?"
"I'm just stopping by, I wanted to give you these."
"You can keep them." I spoke, reaching for the door.
"Cute kid, I wonder how ours will look.. probably better than her."
I tried to slap him but he grabbed my hand and pushed his way inside. "I would never have a baby by you!"
"Too late, you know that's my baby you're carrying."
"Get out of my house!"
"Fine, I'll leave but you know I'll be back." He tossed the flowers to the floor and walked out of the house, slamming the door behind him.
That was the last straw, I planned on getting a restraining order as soon as possible.
Dandria
"So, he's stalking you?"
"Yes, I can't get rid of him." Chantel spoke into the phone.
"Why don't you tell Marcus?"
"Because, I don't want to bring Ron up. It's a sensitive topic and I know it would only make things worse. He'll just think about me cheating."
"So now you have to deal with Ron's crazy ass for the rest of your life?"
"I just told you plan on getting a restraining order!"
"You really think that's going to keep him away?"
"I don't have any other options, Dria. He's harassing me!"
"Chantel, can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"Is that baby Ron's?"
She disconnected the call without an answer. I knew she would probably be upset with me but I wanted to know if that was the cause of all of her stress. I knew it wouldn't be healthy for the baby or Chan and it worried me.
Placing the phone on the nightstand, I rolled over and wrapped my arms around Cam, who was sleeping.
The next morning, I woke up to Cam stretched on the far left side of my bed and placed my head on his chest. When I felt his arm wrap around me, I knew he was awake.
"You ready for today?"
I smiled and nodded, holding him tightly. "But don't you have to work?"
"That can wait."
We pulled up outside of his mother's home and I took a deep breath. Déjà vu was in full affect as I got out of the car and walked up to the porch with Cam.
"Let's just come back another time." I spoke frustrated, while waiting on her to open.
"I'm not going to let anything happen that you don't want to." He grabbed my hand and locked his fingers between mine before she snatched the door open.
"I'm glad you made it." She smiled at Cam before turning towards me.
"I see you brought company. There isn't enough for all of us."
"Cut it out, ma." He spoke with irritation before entering the home.
"What's up, Cam?" Corey spoke slumped over the couch.
He was much more older and his voice was deeper. I remembered him as younger child but he grew up nicely. When he glanced at me, his eyes were not as innocent as they used to be, they were full of lust and roaming my body. I felt violated, standing there watching him stare at me.
