When I Found You...

Chapter 9

After a long drive home, I decided to stay over Kendall's. I slept on the sofa with a blanket over me, thinking over everything that happened today. I had to leave... I couldn't face the embarrassment of making a fuss then staying! It was too much...

Meanwhile Sal was at the beach house, sitting beside Joe.
"What's wrong bud?" Joe asked.
"She's gone" Sal sighed. "I kissed her... but she still left" Sal admitted.
"Maybe she needs some time. It must be overwhelming coming to a beach house where you don't know anyone. Just give her some space" Joe suggested.
"What if she doesn't feel the same about me?" Sal asked.
"She does.. trust me" Joe reassured Sal.

Joe patted Sal on the shoulder as he walked away to join the party. Sal studied the events in his mind until he had an idea. A smirk played across his lips as he soon got up and ran to his car.

The next morning I woke up on Kendall's sofa. I was still upset by what had happens but a smile soon grew on my lips as I saw I had a text from Sal.
Sal: good morning
Me: morning xx
Sal: can you do me a favour?
Me: of course xx
Sal: open the front door...

I looked at the text confusingly, but I slowly got up from the sofa and walked over to the door. I cracked it open slightly, and as soon as I saw who it was, I opened it up fully. Sal was stood there, in a blue blazer, holding a bunch of flowers.
"What are you doing here??" I asked with a smile.
"Last night... you said if you  could wake up tomorrow and have anything you would have me. Therefore... here I am" Sal warmly said.
"But~" I begun.
"No no... just listen. Come back to the beach house with me" Sal pleaded.
"Why?" I asked with desperation.
"I want to be there with you... and you only" Sal said. "So will you come back with me?" Sal asked.

(A/N: sorry this has taken ages to publish. I have been editing it and I changed my mind on the storyline about a hundred times! The next few chapters are exciting though😁😁).
