When I Found You...

Chapter 45

That Evening.....
I watched as the nerves washed over him. He eventually agreed to meeting my parents- but I could tell he was very nervous about it. As he ironed out his jacket with his hands, I placed my palm in his, to show I was there to support him. We knocked on the door and awaited an answer. Luckily, Logan answered.
"Logan, meet Sal" I introduced as I gestured Sal towards Logan. They shook hands.
"It's nice to meet you!" Logan said with a smile on his face.
"It's nice to meet you too" Sal nervously replied.

Logan led us into the living room, where my mum and Dad were sat watching tv.
"Mum, Dad- this is Sal. Rachel's boyfriend" Logan explained.
"OH MY GOD!!! ITS SAL VULCANO!!" My Dad shouted in excitement.
"Dad, calm down" I said, although I saw Sal smirk.
"No no, it's fine. It's great to meet you!" Sal said with a warm smile as he shook my dads hand.
"Sal, was it?? It's great to finally meet you" my mother said to him. Sal shook her hand also.
"Can I get anyone something to drink?" Logan offered.
"Water is fine, thank you" I said, with everyone else agreeing.

Me and Sal sat on the sofa, opposite my mum and Dad. My dad was admiring Sal- he was acting like a fan girl.
"I have to ask- what's been your worst punishment?!" My Dad asked.
"They were all pretty horrific. But the bog monster one was awful!" Sal answered.
"What's been the funniest moment?" My Dad asked. It was like watching a TV interview.
"Dad- maybe you could ask a few questions later?" I said.
"Yes, hun" my mum said, giving my dad the 'shut up now!' Eyes.
"Sorry Sal" my dad apologised.
"It's no problem. It's nice to see that your a fan" Sal said.
"So how did you both meet?" My Mum asked.
"Through work" Sal began.
"And I knew from the minute I saw him I fell in love" I admitted, allowing a smile to form on my lips...
