After dinner, me and Sal began to walk down the dimly lit street. The puddles rippling with the gentle breeze in the air. The lampposts clearly defining the cracks in the concrete below.
I soon felt Sals fingers snake around my own. I leaned in closer as my head soon leaned against his shoulders. No words were exchanged, but our love was evident in the silence.

As we walked through the streets of London, I tripped over a crack on the uneven ground. As I was about to fall, Sal soon caught me. I gazed up to his green eyes, sparkling in the light, he gave me a warm smile. Sal swiftly brought me to my feet , as held onto my hands. He slowly moved a strand of hair out of my face, slowing his hand to caress the side of my face afterwards. I let out a quiet giggle, as the nerves built up inside of me. He placed his warm hands into my neck and pulled me in close to him and planted a soft kiss onto my lips. I felt his smile crease against my lips. We slowly broke away, but our hands remained connected.
"I love you" he quietly whispered.
"I love you too" I simply replied, as we continued our walk home.

"What are you doing?" I asked, between the laughs. Sal wrapped his arms around me, causing my head to fall back into his shoulders.
"I just want to spend time with you" he replied, softly.
As soon as those words spilled from his tongue, I knew I had to tell him about my decision, of wether to stay or not.
"About that..." I began as I sat up, placing my hand on his knee, which was instantly covered by his hand.
"What..?" He asked wearily.
"I've decided to come home, to New York!" I revealed with a beaming smile.
"But this is your dream! Here in London!" Sal pointed out.
"I thought you'd be happy?" I questioned.
"I am, of course I am. But I don't want you to throw anything away for me!" Sal told me.
"The only thing I want- is to be with you. In New York!" I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life" I replied with a smile. Sal pulled me back into another kiss...
