Chapter 22

    We all headed back to Clairnes the next day. It was a very long ride home. Once we got to Clairnes, Luna started saying some weird stuff, "Princess... It feels strange around here, do you feel it?" She asked. Being confused I only said, "Ok," and walked away. We took a walk through town. We looked around to see a strange mask. "Princess, what do you think of that strange mask?" Luna asked. "I think... it's beautiful..." I said slowly. "Princess, are you alright?" She asked. "Sorry, I'm fine, just tired!" I said honestly. "Maybe you should get some rest. Maybe see Mitsuhide on your way back," She said and we started walking back.

    While we were walking back, this weird purple light was coming from the castle. "What's that!?" I asked while the sky was turning dark and there were harsh winds. "No... I can't be her... Start heading for the castle now! Our objective is to get to the top of the castle!" Luna yelled and started running toward the castle and so did I. We got to the castle and it was on fire. I saw these weird monster things and Luna handed me my sword. We started fighting them, but they were hard. "Catch the Moon Wolf Princess!" I heard a monster yell. "Princess, I'll meet you at the top! Run!" She yelled and I started running to the top, but I never knew where it was.

    "So, you're looking for the top?" I heard a woman's voice ask. I turned around quickly, "Hello," She smiled evilly. "Who are you!?" I asked in anger. "I am Reina's comrades," She answered. "Reina? Who is she?!" I asked. "She the one who's evil to you, but good to me," She chuckled. I pointed my sword to her face, "Get out of my way!" I yelled. "I'll let you through, but you have to turn yourself into Reina. She'll beat you anyway," she said. "I accept," I lied. She stepped away from the door, 'Wow, she's so dumb,' I thought and walked in through the door and I was on the top of the castle.

    "Hello, Princess Akari," The woman I guess that was Reina. I saw her holding Luna by the neck. "Let Luna go!" I commanded. "Sorry, but... She's one of us," Reina said and dropped Luna. Luna held her neck and coughed. Then, she rose up from the ground. Her eyes had lost color, she looked so different, "Hello Princess," She said with an evil grin. An evil aura came from her, "No..." I whispered and a tear fell from my eye.

    'Oh, Goddess of the Moon, please send help!' I thought. "The Moon Goddess can't help you, princess!" Luna laughed. "How did you-" Luna cut me off, "You thought I couldn't read your mind? Remember when I could do that? I remember that you told yourself you love Mitsuhide!" She laughed. "Don't bring him into this!" I yelled. "Oh, he's already dead, Princess! It's too late for you now!" She laughed. "No, I don't believe in your stupid lies! Now come here!" Luna said and I pulled my sword out and started fighting. Our swords started dancing for what felt like forever until we came to a stop. "Why won't you die!?" Luna asked in frustration. "Because you truly you don't want to kill me. You're just under magic that Reina put you under," I said sadly.

    "What do you mean?" She asked. "I know what Reina did to you, now please come back with me," I said as I held out my hand. "Luna, what are you doing!?" Reina asked in anger. Luna reached for my hand and she turned back to normal. "Princess...?" She asked then looked at Reina, "Let's fight her," Luna said and transformed.

    "Princess, I want you to call the Sun and Moon gods," Luna said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Just say it. It'll come to you when the time is right," She answered and started fighting Reina. 'Princess...' I heard a voice call. It sounded so familiar... It was Goddess Selene! "Goddess Selene!" I yelled out. 'I give you the gift to transform into your final form, Princess,' She said and a light came toward me. I held out my hand and said the words that came to me, "Oh Gods of the Sun and Moon, please grant me your strength," I said and started to feel immense power and transformed.

    I had a staff in my hand and held in front of me like I knew what I was doing, "I am the Princess of the Moon and I will banish you for eternity! Now be gone!" I yelled and the power headed toward Reina, "No! What's happening!?" She yelled. She started to dissolve away, "NO!!!" Reina screamed, "I just wanted to..." Then she was gone just like that. I started to feel a bit dizzy and fell to the ground and then everything went blank...

    I woke where I was the last time and saw Luna crying right next to me, "Luna... I'm right here..." I said while placing my hand on her back. "I thought you were dead since you took up so much power! I'm so glad you're alive!" She cried and hugged me. "Well, I'm here now, aren't you happy?" I asked. "Of course, stupid!" She said and cried happy tears and I smiled weakly. I had a lot of wounds from that huge fight and the castle that was once so beautiful was now a wreck. "This place is a huge wreck right now," I mentioned. Luna looked around, "Yeah... Let's go check around," She said and so we did.

    We walked around and heard people crying and talking. We walked in to see a bunch of wounded guards, royals, and citizens. It was sad to look at. Then I looked around for Mitsuhide. I couldn't find him anywhere. "I guess he's not alive no more..." I said and covered my face and started crying. "Akari?" I heard Mitsuhide asked. I turned around quickly to see him. I opened my eyes widely to see Zen, Kiki, Obi, and Shirayuki all beat up. Mitsuhide also. I then ran up to Mitsuhide and hugged him, "I thought you were dead!" I cried. He smiled, "I'm glad to see you're alive, but what is with this colorful outfit?" He asked. "Oh, just a transformation," I laughed weakly.

After the whole incident with Reina, The whole castle got rebuilt, but it took a while. Princess Akari and her friends went to the Celestial Realm and see what happens next while Akari is in the realm in the next chapters
