Today I become Prince Zen's new aide and Shirayuki will be taking a test to see if she can become a court herbalist. Shirayuki and I head to the castle for both of our jobs. We went to this garden full of herbs. It was fascinating. Then, Shirayuki started talking to the kid from the shop the other day about herbs. Then the kid ran away cause I guess he wanted personal space. "Shirayuki!" Zen called. "Oh, Zen!" Shirayuki called as Zen ran down to us. "Your exams are starting soon and today's your first day as my aide, Akari," Zen said. "Yeah, kind of," Shirayuki said. "What? Kind of?" Zen asked and grabbed his hand. "Huh?" It really confused me why she did that. "Wish me luck!" Shirayuki smiled.
Shirayuki left us and me and Zen walked to Kiki and Mitsuhide. "Guys, Akari is my new aide," Zen said. "Oh, welcome," Kiki said. "Wait, she's the new aide?! Is she replacing us since she's advanced?!" Mitsuhide got very worried. "No, you'll still be my apprentice, Mitsuhide. Don't be stupid. Since she was looking for a job, I thought since she can use a sword pretty well, she can be another apprentice." Zen explained. "Hey, why not Mitsuhide show Akari around the castle since he has a liking for her," Kiki said with a smirk. "K-Kiki! It's not like that!" Mitsuhide said while his face got red. "Ok guys, let's go back to my office," Zen said and so we did.
We headed to Zen's office and he went to his desk and picked up a new outfit. "Here, put these on so you won't have to ruin your traveling outfit. Go put it on int that room over there," Zen said as he pointed to a door. "Thank you," I said and walked into the room. I put on the blue outfit Zen gave me and pulled my hair up into a half up half down ponytail to keep some hair out of my face. The weird part was having two straps on the same leg and these weird pointy things from going a little past my knee from the back. I slid on my boots and walked out of the room.

"Oh, Akari, you look good," Zen complemented. "I-I think your hair l-l-looks good with that outfit, A-Akari," Mitsuhide said. "Thank you, guys," I said. "Now, I have one more thing, Akari," Zen said and picked up a sword from his desk. "Now, I know you have a normal sword, but nobody really used this one and it's in very good shape and I thought you might like it. I warn you though, this sword can do some weird stuff sometimes, so I'd be careful." Zen said. "Oh, th-thanks..." I said and took the sword hesitantly.
