Me and Mitsuhide were walking around the forest. I wasn't very sure about Kiki though, I guessed she was staying back. "So why did you really come here?" Mitsuhide asked. "Well... It's not important." I said trying to dodge the question. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yes." I said. Then, he grabbed a few strands of hair. "Your hair is usually long." He said. He was right. My hair does go down to my feet, but I hate it when people try touching my hair. "Yes, now please let go..." I said in a soft voice while blushing. "Maybe I'll let go if you tell me why you ran away." He said. "Why can't you people mind your own business?" I asked. "Because, I want to know the problem and maybe I could help." He said.

I paused for a second. Then I thought for a moment. "Ok... We left because Prince Raj... He tried marrying my sister because of her hair and it would be an embarrassment if she married him, so we ran away..." I explained. "Also the reason why she cut her hair, which I thought was a little dumb, but that's how my sister thinks sometimes."  I added. Then I started to chuckle a little. Mitsuhide laughed a little too. "But hey, that's probably what he really wanted, right?" He asked. "Well, that's probably the reason why he wanted to marry her." I smiled. "Oh, I should let go of your hair, oops..." He said and let go of my hair. "It's alright, We just got a little distracted." I said. "Yeah, now let's head back." Mitsuhide said and we walked back to the house.

Zen and Shirayuki just got to the house like we did. Zen picked up a basket with a cloth over what was inside. The cloth fell to reveal shiny red apples. I saw Shirayuki's ribbon that was tied to her hair before she cut it. "No, it can't be..." I said. We walked into the house and Mitsuhide and me went up the stairs and I sat on one watching Shirayuki and Zen talk about what me and Mitsuhide were talking about before. At one point, the apple Shirayuki was holding, Zen took a bite out of the apple and she was still holding it. "Wow Zen, it's her apple, why not get your own," Mitsuhide said. "Yeah, what the hell, Zen," I said. "What are you-!" Zen started choking on the apple, then Mitsuhide suggested, "Talk or eat, now don't do both." "Nobody asked, stay out of this!" Zen yelled. "Now you're just being rude," Mitsuhide said.

"Zen!" Shirayuki called. "What now?!" Zen asked way to loud. "I was being foolish. I'm sorry." She said. Then, Zen started acting a little funny. "Shirayuki... you should put that apple down if I were you... Kiki... Mitsuhide... don't get mad..." Zen said before he fell to the ground. Me, Mitsuhide, and Kiki ran down the stairs and Mitsuhide caught Zen before he hit the ground. "What happened?!" Misuhide asked. Shirayuki rubbed the apple onto her bandage where she hurt herself earlier and smelled it. "It's poisoned!" She said. "Can you help in any way!?" Kiki asked. "Give me a second," Shirayuki said as she looked in her bag with herbs, "It's not good, I can't prepare with what I have. If I don't hurry-" A man opened the door and said, "My, My, It looks like someone else tasted the apple instead of Miss.Shirayuki." "Who are you?" Mitsuhide asked in a firm voice. Kiki and I got our swords ready. "Hm, This changes things..." The man said.

"How could you do such a horrible thing?!" Shirayuki asked as she walked up to the man. "Calm down, Miss. A certain someone possesses the antidote. I trust that you will come with me quietly." The man said. The man took us to a house. The man led us to a room and Shirayuki was taken somewhere else. "Shira-!" I yelled, but the man stopped me and said, "Calm down, she won't get hurt, Miss." and he closed the door and walked away. I sat down to the nearest chair and sighed. "They got us..." I said and covered my face. "Don't worry, Akari. We'll figure something out." Mitsuhide said as he patted my back. "Yes, but..." Before I said anything else, Zen woke up. He got off the bed that he was lying on and said, "Let's go get Shirayuki." He said as he grabbed his sword. Everyone got their swords ready, including me, and busted the door open. We fought the guards, but I knocked them out because I didn't feel like killing anyone. Then we reached the room where Shirayuki and Raj was.

Zen kicked the door open and yelled, "I OBJECT!!!" A guard ran up to Zen and the guard got knocked out. "You will stop spewing disgusting filth to that poor girl's ears, you pig!" I ran in through the doors and asked, "Shrayuki, are you ok?!" I gave her hug. "Yes, now what about you, Zen?" She asked and I let her go. "Hey, tie this for me?" He asked and held out his arm. "Wait, what about your body. Is it ok?" Shirayuki asked very worried. "I've spent the last years building immunity to different poisons," Zen explained. "Aha, so you were the one who took a bit out of the apple. That was unfortunate. I was planning to poison Shirayuki so I could take her back home with me." Raj said. "You disgusting pig..."I commented. "Why am I not surprised you were behind a bad apple?" Zen asked. "Mind your manners around me, country boy! Peasants like you need to show respect to royalty!" Raj said.

"Oh, pardon me sensitive, delicate, first monarch of Tanbarun. I mean, Prince Raj. I'm not one for formal introductions, but..." Zen said and held up his sword to find a crest on the top of the sheath. "I recognize that crest..." Raj said. "You should, imbecile! Meet the Second Prince of Clarines Kingdom! I'm Zen Wisteria!" Zen said. "A prince...?" Shirayuki asked. "No way..." I whispered to myself. "Did he say prince?!" Raj asked and freaked out. "Zen, get ahold of yourself! Wait, do you know who I am?! Whats 1+1?!" Shirayuki asked. "It's true Shirayuki, but I never thought I'd be poisoned by anyone, much less a half-wit prince from a neighboring kingdom and that could mean war," Zen said. "There is no proof that I poisoned the apple!" Said Raj's wimpy self. "Oh, there's plenty," Kiki said. "We'll see whats what when we make an official inquiry, liar," Mitsuhide said as Zen walked up to Raj while he backed up into the chair. "Let's make a deal, Prince Moron. If you don't want your stupid actions to make it to public record, I suggest you swear not to say Shirayuki's name again!" Zen said.

Zen put his sword up to Raj's face and he fell out of his chair to the balcony. "Alright, Alright! I promise never again!" Raj pleaded. "Shirayuki, you have something to say to Raj? Why not do it now." Zen suggested. Shirayuki walked up to Raj and handed him the apple. Raj freaked out. "Here, Prince Raj, use this to get your strength back. Since you're so shocked, you can't even move. Also, Give Zen the antidote now." Shirayuki commanded. "Yes, ma'am!"

And Raj was taken away. "Thank you," Shirayuki said. "Yes, thank you," I said. "For what?" Zen asked. "You saved me, Zen. But I am sorry, I would only seem poisonous." Shirayuki said. "Is that supposed to be a joke? Cause I was poisoned by one and you're as red as one, Is that what it is?" Zen asked. "Don't worry, it's not something to apologize for. Zen made the choice to eat the apple, but we could have been more careful. Although, Mitsuhide thought it was the end of the world and weeped like a child." Kiki said. "Sh-Shut up, Kiki!" Mitsuhide said. "So tragic..." Kiki added. "Alright, next time I get fruit, I'll have Mitsuhide test it out," Zen said. "What's that now?" He asked. Zen laughed and got up. He walked to Shirayuki and said, "I meant every word I said in the forest. And I hope our fate brought us together for something good. We happen to be in the same place for different reasons and save each other. Maybe poison isn't what it always seems. Maybe meeting each other was a fluke, but the beginning of a new chapter. I guess it's up to you now." Zen explained.

"Is it true? I can choose my own fate?" Shirayuki asked. "That's what I'm gonna do and no one's stopping me. You can follow any path you want. And you too, Akari." Zen said. "I do like the way you think, Zen," Shirayuki said. "It's not how I think, it's how I live," Zen held out his hand for Shirayuki, "So, what's your answer, you two?" Zen asked. Shirayuki looked over at me and I nodded my head.  She reached for Zen's hand and their hands touched one another.

"...Destiny..."
