Chapter 18

    'Oh no, this cannot be happening!' I thought. "Oh no, it's the boy!" We all three said in unison. "Well, I am a boy, but you three saying it at the same time is creepy," Kazuki mention. "Who the hell are you?" Obi asked. "Your Kazuki, right?" Shirayuki asked. "What do you want from us?" I asked. "Oh, you already know my name, I'll introduce myself later because we need to leave," Kazuki said and his companion came flying in. Kazuki's companion started fighting Obi. "Someone help us!" Shirayuki yelled, but she got tied up. "Let me go!" She yelled. "Sorry, but you'll have to stay still," Kazuki said. "Let her go!" I yelled. "Sorry, but I can't, " He said and came toward me. I tried to hit him, but he grabbed my arm and tripped me.

     He tied me up and Rona and Eugena opened the door. They were shocked at what they were looking at and then Obi got knocked out. "Obi, no!" Shirayuki cried. "Stop this!" I yelled. Kazuki's companion picked Shirayuki up and Kazuki carried me over his shoulder. Shirayuki and I were knocked out by an essence and we were out for hours. 

~Luna's P.O.V.~

    "Guards, Help!!!" I heard someone yell and I jumped out of bed and ran out my door. I found the sound was in Shirayuki's room. "What's wrong-!?" I asked, but then I saw Obi on the ground. "What happened to Obi?!" I asked. "Shirayuki and Akari were kidnapped by these guys and one of them knocked out Obi!" Eugena said. "Princess... is gone...?" I asked in shock. I ran out to the balcony and looked around, "She can't be gone..." I said and I trembled onto my knees and started sobbing.

    A maid helped us take Obi to his room and lied him down on his bed. We waited for an hour for him to wake, "Mr. Obi, Are you alright? Can you hear me?" The maid asked. He shot up and asked, "Where's Shirayuki?!" "Those men took her, the guards tried to follow them into the forest, but they just disappeared... They also took Akari..." Eugena said. "This is our fault if we wouldn't have distracted you, you could've saved them..." Rona said. "It wasn't your fault. You did everything you could," Obi said with a smile, "So tell me, how long was I out?" Obi asked the maid. "About an hour. Listen, you should take some rest, Mr. Obi," The maid said. "Has anyone from Clairnes arrived?" Obi asked. "No, not that I know of. I'll check if you want me to," The maid said. "Yes, please do," Obi said and the maid walked out.

    "Shirayuki will come back, I promise," Obi reassured Rona and Eugena. "Are you sure?" Rona asked. "Cross my heart," He said and they both smiled. "It's late, you should get some rest," he said. "Yes," Eugena and Rona said in unison and left the room. I just sat in a chair across from the room and sulked, "Luna, I promise we'll get them both back, I hate watching you sulk," Obi said. I blushed and tears started streaming down my face, "Obi, it's all my fault, I should've been there!" I cried in agony. I was so sad that she was gone, I couldn't take it.

    Obi got up from his bed and hugged me tightly. He patted my head and said, "It's alright... But I have to go find Shirayuki..." Obi said and let me go. Then, He jumped off from the balcony. "Obi, wait!" I yelled out, but he didn't turn back to say anything. He just kept going. I started running out the door of Obi's room and ran to the throne room. "Prince Raji! Obi has got away and he's going after Shirayuki and Akari!" I cried. Then I saw Mitsuhide, Zen, and Kiki along with Mihaya. Then, I saw the shock in his eyes. "So, they got to Akari too...!" Zen said in anger while Mitsuhide's eyes were filled with shock.

    We had a meeting and talked about a large organization, "Your Highness, most likely, we are up against a large organization," Sakaki said. "Have any idea who it could be?" Mitsuhide asked. "Well, there is one of the most troubling groups and they took over the east sea," Sakaki said. "The Claw of the Sea," Raji mentioned. "Exactly, you're doing well, your highness," Sakaki said. "They took the last princess... It was hard to find her...!" I said. "I've heard of that group," Kiki mentioned. "You have?" Zen asked. "They are buccaneers who collect tolls illegally at sea. They even try to use anything to avoid inspections. Money isn't the only thing they want, they also trade people for their particular abilities or unique appearances. Those who stand out act as bait or tools for the type of fishing they do," Sakaki explained.

    "Yeah, it sounds terrible, but Kazuki told me he wasn't hunting her down for her red hair. He didn't tell me anything about Akari either," Mihaya said. "We just can't trust what he said though," Kiki said. "Yeah, but Akari has no value without her sword. She doesn't have any magic linked to her, so basically she's defenseless without a sword, plus she forgot to bring her sword, so she's nothing to the claw of the sea," I said. "Yeah, but her long hair is something unique about her," Mihaya mention. "I didn't think about that..." I said. "Well, at least we have a direction instead of searching randomly," Zen said. "If you want to go where the Claw of the Sea is, follow me," Sakaki said. "The mountains, correct?" Raji asked. "Yeah," Sakaki said. "The mountains?" Zen asked. "Excuse me, Prince Raji, the king wants you and Prince Zen to see him," A servant said. "Woah, such a request," I said while my eyes widened.

    We waited outside the castle while Prince Zen and Raji were having a little meeting with the King. "I bet it's going great in there," Mitsuhide said. "Thank you for waiting," Zen said and Raji came with them. "The King gave us permission. We can move freely, let's start the search," Zen commanded. "Sounds good," Kiki said. "We need to investigate and fast. Look like you have to come with us, Mihaya," Mitsuhide said. "Well, it's nice to be needed, What a surprise, although I am resented," Mihaya said. "Pr-Prince Zen... I would like to accompany you guys!" Raji said. "Are you sure about this?" Zen asked. "Yes, I made a promise to her... Shirayuki... It'd be shameful to just stay here. I want to do more than just pray for her safety, and Akari's too, let's bring them back together," Raji said. "You're welcome to come," Zen said. 'Princess, I'm coming for you. Please hang in there,' I thought.

~Akari's P.O.V.~

    I woke up in a bed in between Kazuki and Shirayuki. Then Kazuki fell off and shot up, "Ow! Wait, you guys are here too! No, why are you..." Kazuki said and then I heard footsteps, "Cover yourselves!" Kazuki said and covered us with a blanket and then the door busted opened. "Umihebi!?" Kazuki asked in shock. "Good, you're awake," I heard the woman Umihebi say. "Where the hell are we?! What's going on!?" Kazuki asked in anger. "Don't dramatic... You were hiding from us, what were we supposed to do, not come and get you?" She asked. "I already told you, I'm not apart of you guys anymore!" Ha said. 'What is this woman?' I thought. "You're too cute, but that's not up to you. Be grateful you stretched your wings and have sweet dreams. Now we have plenty of work for you to do now. Yoohoo, the girl with hair as red as the rose, you understand the situation, right my pet?" She asked. "She has nothing to do with this! Let her go!" He said.

    "We've been following you for quite some time, so we have every right to keep her and also the Moon Wolf Princess, it'd be fun to know all those mountain men want them. You should know your friends are those mountain men, right?" She asked. "If we play this right, that old man will shut up for good," She mentioned. "Remember on land your nothing, you should be more careful," He said and then I guess he got slapped. "You have the fairest face. Oh, how I wish you wouldn't want to make me hit your pretty face so often," She said and removed the covers from us, "I'm sorry, but you won't be seeing your home ever again," Then she laughs evilly. "Oh no... Mitsuhide, Luna, Kiki, Obi, Zen... Please help us!' I thought. 

    "Stop, don't touch them!" Kazuki said while trying to get up. "Heh," Then she grabbed my arm and dragged me away from Shirayuki and Kazuki."No, please stop!" I yelled. "Shh, Princess. I'm gonna take you somewhere special," Umihebi said. Then she dragged me out of a room. "Bring her back!" I heard Kazuki yell. "Akari!" Shirayuki called, but I was dragged farther away. "Hold still, little princess," She said and tied my hands and feet, so I couldn't get free. "No, please!" I yelled. "The more you yell, the more punishment you get, little princess. Since you have magic in you, you'll be going to this lovely room," She said and opened the door.

    Then, she kicked me into the room and hit the ground hard. The room was dark and eerie. Then, she started smacking my face very hard. She also kicked my legs very hard. I then started crying, "Aww, the little princess is crying. Looks like we'll have someone take care of you," she said. Then, a couple of her men came out and started kicking and punching me and she left. By the time they were done, I was bruised and I had scratches all over me. There was blood all over me. Then, I was taken back to where Shirayuki and Kazuki was. They threw in there and said, "Don't worry, little princess, you'll be "taken care of" tomorrow," One of the men said and slammed the door shut.

    "Akari!" Shirayuki yelled. "Sh-Shirayuki, we have to get out of here..." I said while Kazuki was holding me up. "They tortured you, how dare they!" Kazuki yelled in anger. "Mitsuhide..." I mumbled. "What about Mitsuhide?!" Shirayuki asked in worry. "I wish he was here... I'm in love with him..." I admitted. "I'm sure they'll come for us, Akari," Shirayuki cried. I weakly smiled and said, 

"I hope they will too... I wanna get out of this hell hole..."
