Chapter 20

"So then, we can go home...?" Shirayuki sniffed. "Yes," Kiki said and I pulled out a bell made of walnut stone. "We're gonna use that?" I asked. "Yes, it's from Zen," Kiki said and shook it a little. "It's walnut stone," Shirayuki said. "Yes, it'll help Zen and the other's locate us. Don't give Zen full credit, it's from Kihal," Kiki said putting it around her neck. "That's so sweet," Shirayuki said. "Well, thanks to Kihal, we can for sure get out of here. Let's just hope we don't get killed," I said. "We wait for them to get to their base and then the action begins," Kiki said.

A little while later, a man opened the door for me and Shirayuki, "You're up, Redhead and Little Princess," The man said. The man took us one deck, "Boss,"I got the girls," he said and I heard a familiar sound. Shirayuki and I looked up. 'Oh, it's the bird like Kihal's!' I thought. "How are there so many?" A pirate asked. "Wait, is that a royal vessel leading the fleet?" Another pirate asked. 'That must be Raji!' I thought a little smile formed on my face. "Boss, what'd we do now?" The pirate asked. "Oh, just my luck...!" Umihebi murmured.

"Pirates! Can you hear me!? I am the 1st Prince of Tanbarun! Raji Shenezad! The redheaded and silver-haired girls are special! In Tanbarun they're in a high regard, Friends of the Crown! Understand that we will not let you get away!" I heard Raji yell from the other ship. "A "title"? She's a friend of the crown? And it's these girls!? ...What the hell... So, it was Tanbarun that was after them, not the Lions of the Mountains?! There is no way we can take on that many ships!" Umihebi said. "Retreat and be quick! Slip away to the west!" Umihebi ordered and the ship started to turn. I felt so relieved that Tanbarun was also coming for us too.

We looked over the boat and saw Prince Raji, "What do you think you both are doing? Showing your faces?" A pirate asked. "We see Prince Raji," Shirayuki said with a smile and Umihebi used her chain sickle to scratch Shirayuki's face, "You better get back to your room, you both," Umihebi said. We were both thrown back into our room, "Oh no, what happened to your face? Was it Umihebi?" Kazuki asked Shirayuki. "I'm fin and she did," Shirayuki answered. "Those assholes!" Kazuki said. "I heard they were turning to the west," Kiki mentioned. "Yeah, that's true," I said. Then, the boat started rocking a ton and I mean too much that Shirayuki was holding onto Kiki and Kazuki was holding onto me.

The shaking stopped and the boat stopped. One of the Pirates came and got us on deck, "Where are we?" Shirayuki asked. "We're at one of their bases. I dunno where we are. We always came back on land," Kazuki answered. Umihebi came out of her quarters and got close to me and Shirayuki's faces, "So, which Master am I gonna sell you off too, Hm? Looks like no one can't come to save you anyway!" She said. "Boss! Sorry... but they followed us somehow!" One of the pirates yelled. "Oh, C'mon, you've got to be kidding me!" Umihebi said and then she started smiling.

Then, Tanbarun's ship came running into the Claw of the Sea's ship. We all stayed on the ship for some reason when we could've jumped off. There was a still a big part of the ship and Kiki jumped off. Some men of the crew jumped off to go get her, but Mitsuhide threw her sword and she caught it and started fighting the pirates. Then, Mitsuhide and Zen jumped into action. "Who are you!?" Umihebi asked. "Let them go, I'm not one to mess with," Zen said. "You must want them two pretty bad. You did smash our ship to get them, how heroic," She said with a smile. Then, I ran to pick up Shirayuki, "Zen, catch!" I yelled and threw Shirayuki off the boat. "What do you think you're doing with her?! Get the silver-haired girl!" Umihebi yelled.

"Kazuki, get off the boat!" I yelled and he jumped off. "Princess!" Luna yelled and I was then grabbed by a pirate and dragged to Umihebi. "Oh no! Help!" I yelled. Umihebi tied me up again and dragged me to a board for me to jump off of. "Don't you dare push her, she can't swim!" Luna yelled. "Good!" Umihebi yelled and pushed me into the water. "AKARI!!!" Mitsuhide screamed as I was being pushed into the water. Then, he dropped his sword ran and jumped into the water. I saw Mitsuhide swimming towards me, then he carried me up until we hit the surface. He put me down and grabbed his sword, then he cut the ropes, "Thank you. But watch out!" I yelled as a pirate came raising his sword and Mitsuhide blocked it in time.

"Stay behind me, Akari!" He said while blocking me with his arm. Then, Mitsuhide fought the pirates that were coming his way until the Lions of the Mountain and the rest of us circled the Claw of the Sea. Luna jumped out of nowhere and roundhouse kicked Umihebi till Umihebi fell to the ground. Then, Luna sat on top of her and jammed her dagger into the ground making Umihebi's eyes grow big, "You will never ever touch or torture my Princess ever again!" She yelled in anger. "Get the hell off of me!" Umihebi yelled. "Have you ever thought that you were a bit too overconfident?" Zen asked while he appeared, "You summoned us here and we came a long way for you, now I'm the 2nd Prince, Zen Wisteria of Clairnes. Care to take me on, you filthy pirates?" Zen asked while Luna got off of Umihebi. "Are you ready for death!?" Umihebi asked and she and her pirates started fighting us again.

Zen, Mitsuhide, Kiki, and Luna started slicing through the pirates. Then, Luna and Umihebi started to fight. Luna's Katana and Umihebi's sickle clashed, "Get out of my damn way, you stupid wolf lady!" Umihebi yelled and threw her chain sickle at Luna, but she caught it, "Sorry, but we're turning you and your whole filthy crew in, you bitch!" Luna yelled in anger. "Damn you!!!" Umihebi screamed in defeat.

Me, Kiki, Mitsuhide, and Zen walked outside to Shirayuki, "Good news, Shirayuki, it's all over," Zen said. Shirayuki ran up to, "Thank you guys so much... I just can't believe it..." Shirayuki cried. Mitsuhide smiled and started patting her head and that made me smile. "Zen, where's Obi? And also Luna?" She asked. "They're keeping the Claw in order down there. I think Tanbarun will take it from here," Zen said. "Hey... Stop pushing, Kazuki...!" I heard a man say behind us and I turned around. "Old man, what are you doing?" Zen asked. "Oh- Uhh, you can stay at our village and rest there till before you head back to the castle to make it up to you," The man said. "You're my father!" I said. "Hey, Shirayuki... You look really beat up, Akari..." Father said and everyone looked at us in shock.
