Chapter 12

    Once I got outside from the watchtower, I got on my horse waiting for everyone else to get on their horses. Mitsuhide came out and got on his horse and we started heading for the castle. Zen, Obi, and Shirayuki stayed back for some reason, but I never questioned it. "This is so absurd. There is no place for a commoner girl to be in the court with a prince," Lord Breker said. I didn't say anything, because of his social status was higher. Oh wait, he has no social status anymore. "Kiki, Akari, what do you think is happening next? Maybe a trip to the island," Mitsuhide mentioned.

    "Yeah, it might be that..." I said with agreement. It did make sense too. I wasn't really thinking until I felt a little sharp pain. I stopped... I couldn't move my body. I felt weak. The only thing I could move was my eyes, but I felt like I was half dead. I was hunching over while I was sitting on my horse. 'What's going on?! Why can't I move?!' I thought. I saw everyone stop. "Akari? Are you ok?" I heard Mitsuhide ask.

~Mitsuhide's P.O.V.~

    I went over to Akari. Her presence was weird and her eyes lost color. They were just white. "Akari? Are you there?" I asked. No answer. I saw her looking at me. I could tell she wanted to speak but she didn't. One thing I noticed is that she didn't even move. "Can you move?" I asked. She closed her eyes for a couple seconds and opened. "I'm guessing that's a no..." I mumbled and took her off her horse and carried her onto mine. I commanded a guard to get her horse and we started riding again.

    A while after riding, we finally made it to the castle. I took Akari to her room and lied her down on her bed. "Why don't you get some rest?" I asked. I saw her close her eyes and I left. It took her on the 3rd day in the morning to wake up when we were going to take Kihal back home.

~Akari's P.O.V.~

    I woke up and I felt normal again. I saw Mitsuhide sitting at my desk chair. I sat up quickly and asked, "What day is it?" "It's been 3 days," was his response. "Something took over my body... I don't know what is was or how it happened, but the only thing I could do was move my eyes," I explained. "How do you feel?" He asked. "I feel normal," I said. "Well, your eyes are back to green. Your eyes lost color," He said. "Not shocked," I said and removed the covers, then got out of bed. Mitsuhide got up from his chair and came over to me.

    "Here is your sword," He said giving me a sword. "O-Oh," I took the sword from his hands and we walked to where Shirayuki, Zen, Kiki, Kihal, and Obi were. "Shirayuki, I don't know what to do! The Prince is escorting me to the island!" I heard Kihal say. "Well, someone sounds excited to be with the Prince for a short amount of time," I said. "Yeah," Mitsuhide agreed. Shirayuki went on and then I heard Zen. They talked about routes and then I listened in on what Shirayuki was saying.

    "Be calm, Shirayuki... Everything will be alright..." She said to herself and looked at Zen. He looked at her and she turned away blushing. 'Well somethings going on here...' I thought with a smirk. Then I heard her talk to Zen. It was weird. "Something is up with Shirayuki," I said crossing my arms. "Yeah, after that bird test," Obi said. "Yeah, your right... And Zen's normal which makes things even more strange," Mitsuhide said. "I was thinking that too," Obi said.

    "It's becasue something happened between them," Kiki said. "Huh, what?" Me, Mitsuhide, and Obi said in unison. "Guess," Kiki said and walked away. "What are you waiting for? Let's go," Zen said and me and Mitsuhide went to get on our horses. Not too soon after that, we rode off.

    The journey was short, we got to the village at a good time of the day. We had a meeting which I think was the head of the village. I for one wasn't very important. Then these kids start cheering after the meeting because we accept the offer. A party started and the kids came to ask Zen some questions. I asked Zen if I could go get some fresh air and he allowed it. I went into the forest for a little bit.

    "You were out cold and Mitsuhide came to save the day, Akari," I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see Luna. "What the hell, how did you get out of the sword?!" I asked shocked. I didn't even know she got out. "Oh, I can get out anytime I want to," she said. 'She only came out of the sword when I was around!' I thought. "Well, I never knew you could get out of the sword without me around," I said. "Wanna know what happened to Shirayuki?" She asked. "What?" I said. "Well, I was left in Zen's office and I overheard Kiki and Zen talking. Zen said that he kissed Shirayuki," she said.

    I stood there for a minute not saying anything just processing that through my mind. "BWAHAHA! SO HE FINALLY ADMITTED HIS FEELINGS! That's amazing!" I laughed. "I know, right?" She asked. "Best day of my life, let's go," I said walking away and calmed down. We went to where we were gonna sleep that night. I sat on my bed and talked to Luna for a while. "So, what's your world like?" I asked. "There's 2 wolf goddesses. One's the moon and the other is the Celestial. The Sun and Moon gods are in love. The princess is supposed to get married to the Prince of the sun, but I don't see that happening until the next generation," she said.

    "Oh... interesting... Do they have to get married?" I asked. "No, the princess or prince can get married to whoever they want," she said. "Oh I see," I said. 'Wow, if me and Mitsuhide get married, that'd be great,' I thought and blushed. "You thinking about Mitsuhide. I can tell," she said. "Would you shut up?!" I asked. "Sorry, sorry but no need to get all defensive. I already know you think of him 24/7," She said. "Just go in the sword and shut your mouth," I said laying down on the bed and went to bed.

    The next, we rode back home and we saw Shirayuki and Obi walking. They stopped and Obi turned around. "You guys are back quite early!" Obi said. "We're back on time... Shirayuki?" Zen asked worried. 'Oh, I know where this is going,' I thought with with a little smirk on my face. Obi and Shirayuki started mumbling. "Fine, run away, Miss!" Obi said. Shirayuki started running. "She ran away," Zen said. "That's weird, why don't she do that?" Obi asked clearly forming some plan. "Cause you told her to," Zen said. "Dunno what you talking about. Like I'm not the one she's running from," Obi said. Zen got off his horse, "Mitsuhide, Kiki, Akari, Obi, I'm going after her. Please wait at the castle," Zen commanded. We all said "Yes sir" and he started going after Shirayuki.

    I chuckled a bit and rode back to the castle. 'Well, this is gonna very interesting...' I thought with a smirk. "What do you think, Mitsuhide?" I asked. "A lot of interesting things are going on between those 2," He said. "True," I said with a smile.
