Chapter 24

~Akari's P.O.V.~

    "War!?" I asked in shock. "Yeah... Goddess Selene wanted to tell you but must have forgotten. It's against the Light and Shadow. The Light Goddess will be coming here," Elio explained. "I think she's here," His sword said. "Oh, your sword talks too," I mentioned. "Yeah, you have one person. I have two of them, but one is an Elf and the other is a human," Elio said and the elf appeared. She had long wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a red royal guard uniform and a hat with it.

    "Hello, Princess Akari. I am one of Elio's guards, Ada," The elf said with a bow. Then, a man with red hair appeared out of the sword. He seemed to be the lazy type and he was wearing a similar outfit to Ada. "I'm Nagisa," The human said lazily. "He's not lazy, he's a great fighter," Elio reassured. I smiled, "Good thing," I said. "So Princess, are you fighting in the war?" Nagisa asked. "Yes, of course! How could I not?" I asked. "Good, I'm fighting like Ada," He mentioned and yawned.

    Then, a woman with blonde hair opened the door. She looked a little bruised, "I'm Princess Sachi of the Light Kingdom...!" The blonde said trying to catch her breath. Then she fell to her knees and I ran over to her, "They're almost here..." Sachi said and passed out. "Who!?" I asked in worry to try to wake her up. "Akari, I'll take her to the room," Nagisa said and picked her up.

    I waited in her room for her to wake up. She woke up in a couple of hours at least. "Princess," she called. "Yeah?" I asked. "I just wanted to know if you were here," she said. "Oh, ok. Are you ok though?" I asked. "Mhm," she hummed. "So um... Your Princess Sachi," I said. "Sachi Wisteria, nice to meet you. And who may you be?" She asked. "Princess Akari and are you Zen Wisteria's sister?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm the middle child," she laughed.

    "My sister is your brother's fiancé," I mentioned. "Oh really, who is she? I'm not really at the castle much, so I don't know," she said. "She has red hair, as red as an apple and she's a court herbalist. Um... she is a really kind person, too," I said. "You have hair as silver as the moon and they chose a really beautiful moon princess, your sister seems interesting too. I hope to meet her," she said. I smiled, "So um, who was almost here when you passed out?" I asked. "Oh, it was my royal army," She answered.

    "What about the Shadow Kingdom?" I asked. "I don't know about them..." She sighed, "It scares me, the future of the light kingdom..." She said. "Hey, I'm sure that we'll fix this," I said reassuringly. Then, I gave her a hug. "Thank you so much, Princess Akari," she said.

    "Just call me Akari," I said. "Ok!" She said cheerfully. "Anyway, I have to go, I'll see you later," I said. "Oh, ok," she said. I walked out the door and shut it behind me. "Akari?" I heard a familiar voice. I turned to see Mitsuhide. "Mitsuhide," I said and walked up to him, "It's been a little too long," I chuckled. "More like way too long," He said with a smile. "So, what have you been doing?" I asked. "Just seeing what Zen has been doing. He's been... well, I actually don't know," He answered. "Zen is probably fine," I said putting my hand on his shoulder.

    "Yeah, I guess he's... ok," He said crossing his arms and trying not to look worried. I kissed his cheek, "I love you," I said randomly and he blushed so red. "U-Uh... Th-Thanks...!" He stuttered. "You're so cute when you get all flustered," I said. "Um... Yeah..." He said.

~Elio's P.O.V.~

    I overheard Akari's conversation with that guy named Mitsuhide... 'She's supposed to be mine!' I angrily thought and balled my hand into a fist. 'She doesn't deserve his love, she deserves mine!' I thought more. Then, God Apollo appeared, "Elio, why do you think such things?" He asked. "She's supposed to be mine..." I mumbled. "I don't think it was supposed to be like that," he said which made me mad and he frowned. "Well, you were always bull headed like this, so I might as well try not to change your mind," He said and walked away.

    I walked up to Akari... and her fiancé and said, "Akari, I have a place I want to show you," I said and grabbed her hand. "Where are you taking me?" She asked and Mitsuhide looked confused. "Just follow me," I said. I took her to the dance room and held both of her hands, they were... rough... "So, um... You look wonderful today..." I said and blushed. "Oh... um... Thanks, I guess?" She questioned and looked around. 'Dammit, I'm making this awkward...' I thought. "So what with the dance room?" She asked.

    "Uh... Um..." I started to get all flustered, "I have to go, bye!" I said and ran away like a coward. Ahaha...

~Akari's P.O.V.~

    "Well that was weird," I thought out loud and walked out of the dance hall. I walked down the hall and Shirayuki and Zen were talking in the room, Shirayuki sounded happy. The door was cracked open. "Shirayuki... I've been thinking about this for a long while," Zen said. "What is it?" Shirayuki asked. "I've been wondering if you'd like to get married to me..." He said. I smiled and I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me. "Hello, Princess," I heard Mitsuhide whisper into my ear.

    I smiled, "Hello, Silly," I whispered. "Maybe we should take this somewhere else," He said and we went to the other side of the hall. "So what happened between you and the guy?" Mitsuhide asked. "Well, he just took me to the dance hall and nothing really happened... it was strange..." I said. "What?" He asked. "Exactly what I thought," I said. "Well, I don't want you near him, so stay away," He said. "Oh, I see... Ok," I said and he kissed me. I smiled, "Thank you, Mitsuhide." He caressed my cheek, "You're welcome, Princess," He said.
