Akari was in her room while me and Kiki started talking about her. "You know, I wonder if Akari knows of Prince Izana," Kiki said. "Izana? I wouldn't think she'd know," I said. "Hm... I wonder if Izana knows of her too," she said. "Heh..."
~Akari's P.O.V.~
Today I got my new guard uniform since it was basically ruined. I came across Mitsuhide and he looked at me and blushed a little. "Somethings different about you today," He said with a smile. I was wearing a black top with a blue jacket and some black stockings and blue boots. It was a bit skimpy... "Well, I hope I look good in my new clothes!" I said with a smile.

"Anyway, the soldiers at the fort will need to be at alert now," Mitsuhide said. "Yeah..." I said and then I felt someone watching me. "Huh..." I said. "What's wrong?" Mitsuhide asked. "... Nothing... Let's go," I said. We went to Zen's study room and then we walked out and noticed there were more guards than usual. "There's more guards than usual or is it just me?" I asked. "You're right..." Mitsuhide said. "I was never notified about this," Kiki said.
Zen started walking off and then we followed. Something wasn't feeling right. Then a man came up to me and said, "Please follow me, the Prince has requested your presence," He said. "O-Oh?" I asked and I followed. I was taken to this place with 2 coaches and curtains surrounding it. I was pretty confused. Then Shirayuki came and I started hearing a man and Zen start talking. Then a blonde haired man opened the curtains and everyone got surprised. "Akari, Shirayuki?!" Zen said shocked.
"Zen, your toady's and you are dismissed," The blonde male said. Zen made a face of what-the-hell-are-you-up-to face and said fine. A second later, Zen made a dramatic entrance through the curtains and said he'll come find us and left. Shirayuki was let out, but not me just yet. "Stay in there for a second," The blonde male said. I was worried what he was going to say to Shirayuki.
He let Shirayuki go and he opened the curtains and told me to come out. "S-So, you the 1st Prince of Clairnes, am I wrong?" I asked softly. "Yes, that's right," He says handing me a lily. "Wh-What am I h-hear f-for?" I asked. He lifted my chin, "You know, it's not likely for a royal to be friends with a commoner," He said and I start to blush. "Yeah, I-I get Wh-What you mean..." I said. "And you have become my brother's new aide. Also, you have an interesting relationship with... Mitsuhide," He said. I took a step back and my stomach started feeling weird. 'Does he know I like him...? Who the hell is this guy...' I thought. I started shaking at just the thought of that.
He takes a couple strands of hair and put behind my ear. That made me jump a little and he stared at me. I finally spoke up, "It's true I am your brother's aide and me and Mitsuhide are just friends," I said. "Zen brought a silver-haired foreign girl with unusually long hair to this palace. The last person like that had something to do with the moon wolves... and that sword," He said. 'This guy is giving me the creeps, I want to go,' I thought. "How do you know about the moon wolves?" I asked. "I know the moon goddess, Selene. We're allies," He answered.
"I find that interesting..." I said. "You may go, sorry for wasting your time," He said and I walked out. Then I heard "Prince Moron" was coming so I went to some kind of party and was with Mitsuhide and Kiki. Izana, Raji, and Zen started talking and then things went downhill. Then I heard Raji say, "Thank you for the generous offer, but I must decline in a polite way of course. Shirayuki didn't want to leave because of me, that's a silly rumor! She wanted to leave the country, so I gave her an opportunity!" "Why are you so hesitant to see her?" Izana asked with a smile. Raji freaked out for a moment and spoke up, "Well, I heard that Zen considers Shirayuki to be his fiancee and soon will get married!" ...Everyone's eyes grew big and I just smirked.
'Where did he get that from...? He has no idea what he's talking about.' I thought with a smile across my face. Then Zen took Raji to another place for a while. The party ended and I sat on the edge of a balcony and thought, 'Wait... Is Izana trying to get rid of Shirayuki and me...? That's why Raji is here...?' I got off of the edge and started walking. 'Does this mean that Zen is done with me and I'll never see Mitsuhide again?' I thought more. I turned my head and saw Mitsuhide. I looked over there for a little. I sat on a nearby bench and thought of all the times we've spoken.
"You know Akari, I hope you never leave and you can stay here with us," Mitsuhide said. "I hope so too. I don't want you to leave either," I said with a smile.
I remember that day we spoke... Then I started to run where Mitsuhide was earlier and he was gone. "... Mitsuhide..." I said whispering softly to myself. Then a tear started running down my face.
'... I think I actually think it's more than "like"... It's more like love...' I thought.
