Michael is going to meet me at Rio's dance recital. She is so excited to have him there. She likes him a lot. She's always asking what he's doing or where he's at.
Just a few days after dinner that night Rio and I had the discussion where I explained to her that we need to keep the relationship on the down low. She had a lot of questions so I asked Michael to come over. She asked why she couldn't tell people. Basically the answer was that we needed privacy. Privacy is important to life and so we wanted that for her and I.
"Excuse me ma'am is this seat taken", I heard a familiar voice ask.
"Why no sir feel free", I smiled.
"How do I look", Michael grinned.
"Goofy. My kind of goofy", I giggled.
"Perfect", he smiled and gave me a kiss.
Michael was disguised as a cowboy. He did warn me that this would be one of his funniest disguises ever.
"So it's New Year's Eve. I was wondering if I could spend the night tonight. Celebrate the new year with you and Rio", he asked.
"That sounds amazing. Bring sparkling cider. It's a tradition", I smiled.
"I'm happy to be apart of it", he said.

"So Rio how did it feel being up on the stage", Michael asked Rio.
We were laid up on the couch waiting for the ball to drop.
"I felt like a superstar. I was dancing really hard", she jumped.
"Baby you did so good up there. That was your best recital ever", I smiled.
"Thank you Mommy. Did you video it", she asked.
"Yes I did", I smiled.
"Ten seconds guys get ready", Michael clapped.
"Ten... nine... eight... seven... six... five... four... three... two... one... happy New Year", we shouted.
Rio jumped into Michael's arms and he kissed her cheek. I stood up and kissed Michael's lips.
"Sparkling cider", I smiled
We all sipped our cider and watch the ready of the tv. Rio eventually dosed off sitting in Michael's lap.
"So if we decide to move in together we have a get a place in a safe secure neighborhood. I think that's important. I'm not saying that we should do it right now. We should still wait til next month. But we can start looking for a place now", I smiled.
"Baby you have no idea how happy you make me. You wanna know something", he asked me.
"Yes", I smiled.
"I love you. I love you so much baby", he smiled.
Millions of fireworks went off in my heart.
"I love you too Michael", I smiled.
I leaned in and kissed him so passionately.
"I'm so happy with you", I laughed quietly.
"Diddo", he smiled.
From there we watched tv until we fell asleep.
