Scout POV
The dog was double my height, it towered over us with a snarl.
"Who are you?" He barked. I fluffed up my pelt. "Scout, I'm Nutmeg's brother." I hissed.
"I don't know any Nutmeg." He sniffed.
"We are just passing through," I say.
"Oh yeah? Well, I don't believe you, now get away from Miss Daisy!" He growled.
I lashed my tail irritably. 'Why should I?" The dog swiped his paw, knocking me over, I hit the wooden floor with a thud. I felt strong jaws sink into my back, shaking me from side to side.
I let out a shriek of pain.
"Dane stop, he's a friend!" Daisy demanded.
Instantly Dane dropped me and I scrambled to my feet bristling.
"Sorry Scout, I forgot to tell you about Dane. He is a Shepard dog and is one of our protectors so he is very touchy."
"Yeah, no kidding," I mutter as I examine the scar on my back. Dane hung his massive head.
"Sorry kit, I didn't want to take any chances, Daisy here often gets into trouble and I promised her mother Sunflower that she will be out of harm way," Dane explained.
I gave the Shepard dog a shrug. "Whatever you say, Dane. Just don't do that ever again."

ShardStrike, block, kill.
Strike, block, kill.
Fighting has always been a part of my life. Either I was fighting to be born first, to get food, or defending my uncle.
So when I find myself peering down from the fire escape stairwell onto a group of 5 cats walking by with my own group ready to ambush just right behind me. I know it will just be another fight.Just another fight that ends up in bloodshed.
Another fight my uncle has planned for his thirst for revenge. We were in the north part of the city.
Curling my tail, I signal my group to advance.
Klaw and Blake jump down and block the group off while I jump down and pinned down their friend.
The red she-cat yowled. "Ash!"Angrily the cats hissed and raised their paws to swipe at us to avenge their friend. But Klaw and Blake were faster and killed them instantly.I peer down at the cat named Ash. I still had him pinned to the ground. His dark grey fur ruffles in the cold early Winter breeze. Amber eyes burned in deep hatred baring his teeth.
"Frost will never take over the alleys." He declared.
I pressed at his neck choking him. I leaned forward.
"You don't know when to quit don't you alley cat?" I ripped at his neck, blood gushing. "I'll let you live, for now. Give you a chance to tell Peper and the rest a warning but eventually, that wound will kill you. "
I meowed.
The cat gasped for air, struggling.
I flicked my tail for my cats to follow and left the cat to die.Strike, block, kill.
Strike, block, kill.Just another fight that ends up in bloodshed.
