Shard POV:
My lungs were heaving for breath when Frost ended our 5th fighting session from his spot on the bench.
Beside me, Blake and Klaw looked at my uncle for direction."You're dismissed, we will resume this tomorrow. Make sure your group knows, I don't want anyone running late or they'll get another scar."
We watched him confused as he left us."Finally, a break," Blake commented. The dark cat slipped into a full stretch, popping some bones along his spine. "I don't think I could have kept going." Klaw swiped at his paws, cleaning the blood clean. "You're weak to say that. A true follower of Frost would keep going."
I let out a snort and approached the red tom. "Really? You don't mind fighting 'till exhaustion? Even Frost is conservative when he fights. An inexperienced fighter who fights until he is tired is only making him more vulnerable. It is smarter to conserve your energy and fight where it hurts." I explained. Klaw's blinded eye stared at me coldly.
"You think I am inexperienced?" He accused me. "Because if you are, I will gladly fight you, right here, right now." I raised a paw and turned to leave. " You're tired, we all are. Take advantage of this moment, Frost doesn't often end sessions early."Only when he is in a happy mood.
The question is why though.I left the frigid temperatures of the abandoned train station into the more warmer weather of the city. With horn blaring and flashing lights, it is easy to become distracted. I sniffed the air and the tangy scent of my uncle reach my scent glands. It was travelling west, towards the Shelter. Probably is delighted yo send so fear into them and kill a few.
As I followed the scent I noticed it changed direction and was travelling south. As I walked past the Shelter I found it strangely quiet. Normally when any of us, especially Frost drop by, they are screaming, yowling pain, hissing in vengeance. but the shelter stood before me eerily quiet. the only signs of life were the beady eyes that shone through the windows. I turned around and tried to pick up Frost's scent again only to realize that my revengeful uncle didn't stop by at all.
I looked by the window again to notice the eyes were gone, suddenly a silver grey tabby with dark blue eyes came out growling, challenging me. I remember him as Nutmeg's old friend.
"I'm not here to fight," I informed him, backing away. "I'm only looking for Frost." The cat's eyes narrowed. "You expect me to believe you? You could be drawing me out as a diversion." He argued. Good point.
"Well, obviously Frost haven't been here or you would be dead, so I'll just leave," I say, taking another step back I kept an eye on him in case he decided to attack. Once I was far enough I bolted and ran as far as I could from the shelter. How embarrassing.
I found a small fountain in a park and drank to soothe my parched throat. Once I finished I sniffed again to find Frost scent but came up empty. where in the world is he?

Hi!
Ameliaarrows here.
Short but trust me, this chapter would have been extremely long! And you would be bored to death so your welcome.
Because of that, unfortunately, the story may need even more chapters.
I might even get to 40!But those "40 chapters" won't be posted every Sunday but rather whenever I get a chance.
Grade 12 doesn't joke with the workload.
I'll sneak some time in between the homework, but don't freak out if you don't see a new chapter on Sunday.
See ya!
