Chapter One:
Saying my life is complicated is a complete understatement. My life was far worse than complicated. It was an intricate jumble of perplexed deranged screwed up banana pies.
*Three months earlier*
“KYLIE! KYLIE! KYLIE! KYLES! KYYYYLLLIEEEEE!” A voice screamed into my ears, almost making me go deaf.
I raise my hand and poke around the annoying person’s face.
“Kyles, what are you doing?” It giggles.
“Trying to find the snooze.” I groan, in my half asleep/ half awake state.
“Ky, you need to get up!! Do you realize what today IS?” I finally open my eyes slightly to see who had the nerve to wake me.
Of course, it was Emily. My best friend. “I seriously hate you Em.” I mumble.
“Lovee you too!!!!!” Gosh, why was she so hyper? Like seriously!
“Calm your face and tell me why you are so hyp-“ I stop mid-sentence, my eyes going wide.
I bolt upright in my bed remembering where I was. “HOLY POTATO MUFFINS!” I screech.
“Kyles calm down, AND GET YOUR BUM UP AND GET READYY!!!”
I didn’t think it was possible for me to move faster than I did. I was finally going to go to a concert!! But sadly I didn’t get M&G tickets.
I raced around the hotel room, trying to make myself presentable.
I quickly got into the shower.
“KYLIE!” Em screeched. “You take the longest showers EVER.”
“Gurl, I just got in ten minutes ago!!”
“Well hurry up!!!” She whined. I swear she is the whiniest person in the whole world.
“Just for that I will stay in ten minutes longer.” I stuck my tongue out, even though I knew she couldn’t see me.
“Don’t you dare stick your tongue out at me!” she squeals.
No, she wasn’t in the bathroom watching me. We just know each other so well that we usually know what the other is thinking.
We are brain twins as we called it. We’ve known each other forever.
“I’ll do what I want!”
“Just hurry up Ky! We have to leave in like two hours!”
“Oh gosh! What time is it?!?!”
“It’s 10! Don’t you want to get there an hour early?”
“Holy fudge cakes!! Now leave me alone for 5 more minutes so I can finish my shower!”
She doesn’t respond which means she left. She’s probably picking out my outfit right now.
After I finish washing my hair and body I get out and dry myself off. Also wrapping my hair in a towel, so it will dry faster.
Making my way back to the room, I run into Emily.
“Seriously Em?”
“Sorryy!!! Now go get dressed! Your outfit is on your bed.” I told you.
“Thanks Em”
“And you said you hate me.” She smirks and walks towards the bathroom.
I stuck my tongue out “Put your tongue back in your mouth!”
