Josh's POV
I dont like this guy. He's the cause of everything that went down between Riley and Maya. He continuously made advances at MY girl. I only agreed to let him come because Maya said she was okay with it.
"Well, that's the last of it. I wonder what's keeping the girls." He says, slamming his trunk closed. We fall into step beside each other, making our way back to our stuff.
"No idea. You know Riley, always distracted by something. Let's set up the tents while we wait" I chuckle. Lucas agrees and we start working on mine and Maya's tent first.
About a half hour later, everything is set up and put away. I hear an all too familiar giggle, causing my own smile to shine when I look toward the sound. Beautiful blonde hair floating gently in the wind as she laughs, her white bikini hugged to her already golden skin. I feel my breath hitch as she gets closer and looks towards me.
"Well would you look at that. All the work is done and the girls show up to play." I say matter-of-factly. Maya rolls her eyes and gestures to Riley. I nod dramatically.
"So, who's ready for the beach?" Riley asks, walking over to stand beside Lucas. We all agree that it would be great to get in the water finally. The girls grab their beach bags, and I grab a cooler I prepacked with some water and beer. And we decide to head out.
About halfway down the trail to he beach I hear Riley say something like 'Do it' followed by both girls laughing. The next thing I know, Maya is on my back, her legs wrapped around my hips and her arms just above my shoulders. I turn to ask her what shes doing, but I'm met with her lips on mine. I smile into her innocent kiss before she pulls back.
"I couldn't resist." She smirks at me, a light bough creeping into her cheeks. I tell her I'm glad and carry her the rest of the way.
