Maya's POV

"Riley! Riley! Riley Matthews!!" I whisper shout as I poke my head inside Riley and Lucas' tent. I see some movement and I hope that it's her. I need her right now. I need a friend who understands me.

"Maya? What are you doing here? Get in, you're letting bugs in!" I hear Huckleberry say as he pops his head up. I comply, moving inside the tent and zipping it up. I try to move but end up falling, Lucas catching me before I hit the ground.

"Thanks Bucky Mc Boing Boing." I chuckle as I try to sit up. I struggle for a moment but I'm so exhausted. I just give in to my position. I let out a breath I didnt even know I was holding, and Lucas tightened his arms around me, pulling me into his chest.

"Lucas?" I say his name like it's a question. I look up at him with pleading eyes. He looks back at me, reaching out and wiping a tear that had fallen down my cheek. I can feel a smile pull at my lips.

"The answer is yes. Whatever the question, whatever the need, favor, or desire, the answer is yes." I hear him say, noticing his hot breath on my face as he speaks. When did he get this close?

"Thank you." I reply simply, moving back and wiping my own tears this time. I smile at Lucas and turn to unzip the tent, ready to face Josh. Before I can get out, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn and Lucas is now looking at me with pleasing eyes.

"Stay?" He asks, almost desperately. I weigh my options quickly before making my decision.  I make my choice, move to where I need to be and zip the tent.
