Sophia's POV

4 YEARS LATER.

"Wake up honey!" The peaceful sound of my mum's voice echoed through my bedroom. A blinding light shone as a dived under the duvet.

"You need to get up love, it's the first day of school." She said perching on the end of my bed. I was sort of excited but it is school. Also this one started half an hour earlier. Which results in getting up half an hour earlier. So that explains why I am getting up at 6:30 on this rai- wait, it is actually sunny for once! This is the third high school I have been too. In year 7 I got moved and went to St Stevens high for year 8,9 and 10, but then my mum and dad moved

I drag myself out of bed in a slightly better mood considering the sun has come to say hi. I look in the mirror.

"Ahh!" I looked like I had been dragged through a bush backwards by my hair. I grabbed my brush off the side and tried to sort out the mess and then hopped in the shower. The water sprayed out and I jumped a bit not expecting the water to be as cold as it was. After I had finished I really wanted to stay in longer the water was so warm and the bathroom air was cold. I quickly stepped out grabbing my towel. The chilly air hung around me as I dried myself off, got dressed and started drying my hair. After half an hour of drying my hair I decided I didn't have time to straighten it so my hair just flopped on my shoulders all curly for once. I didn't really like my hair curly but I suppose new start at my new school. I might as well.

"Honey your coco pops are on the bar." My mum shouted from the living room. I sat down and started to eat. I quickly finished and went to do my make up. It was only light foundation and a bit of mascara. I picked up my bag as there was a knock at the door.

"Soph! Jen is here!" I grabbed my jacket and ran downstairs.

Jen short for Jennifer. She is my cousin. Well not my cousin. She's my mums best friend's Daughter. She is already at the school I am starting. Newmount. She lives across the road, not directly but almost, so she offered to walk with me. It was only a 15 minute walk. I looked at what she was wearing and stared down at my light blue rolled-up skinny jeans with white top and Pink converse. Whilst she had all designer stuff. I really did hope I wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb on my first day. Her blonde hair was in a pony and it was really long.

"You ready?" She smiled. I guess this is my cue to leave.

"Byee mum!" I shout walking out.

"Have a nice day!" She replied out the door. By this time we were down the drive on the pavement.

"So, you like it here so far?" she asked me smiling.

"Yeah, it's nice." I smiled awkwardly.

"Your row of cottages is nicer then mine. And we're only across the road!" She laughs smiling.

"I checked and we are in all the same lessons, except English and science. Our form tutor is Mr Jackson. He is quite strict but nice." She smiled reassuringly. I just smiled back. I hoped I'd fit in, but as we got closer to school I realize that everyone was wearing totally different so i think i'd be okay.

We walked into school with 5 minutes to spare.

"So this is our form room. You can stay with me I'll show you around and walk you to English and science." She explained. We took our seats in form. It was a music Classroom.

"Thanks" I reply smiling. We just started talking about me and her likes, dislikes. That sort of thing and gradually more and more people came in until the room was full. Our form tutor finally walked in. I looked around the class. I got a few awkward stares, off people probably not knowing who I was the only other person I recognised he lived near my next door I think. I hadn't talked to anyone round my house expect Jen yet.
