"That's madness!"

"You idiocy!"

"You're stupid if you think it will work!"

Scott was getting showered with unkind comments from the Hale pack. He called a 'pack meeting' and explained his plan just to be mocked with their hate comments.

"You even brought a human with you and claim he's your pack emissary!" A werewolf by the name of Joshua yelled, he was the brother of Alex Hale and was not kind to Scott ever.

The whole McCall pack felt little by the immense comments that they were receiving, even Stiles felt intimidating by those werewolves. But Scott remained calm and collected.

"If you could just lis-" He began.

"We told Talia that taking a pack with such unexperienced Alpha would cost dearly." Joshua spat out. "You put our lives in danger because you're just a kid. And the son of one of the worst werewolves in history."

"You don't deserve that power." Micheal, the oldest werewolf said. "You are just a stupid kid that thinks he is entitled of having such power."

Stiles had enough of those bitter old werewolves making his Alpha feel small.

"Enough!" He shouted and pointed at his Alpha. "This 'kid' has gone through more than all of you assholes will ever be through, he didn't kill anyone for his power nor he was given it. He earned with tears, pain and fucking blood. He never wanted to be part of this supernatural world but when he finally accepted, he saved more lives than you. And the next one that says he's just like his father will know my fury!"

Even Scott was surprised but Stiles wasn't finished with the Hales.

"He lost his life three times now and has come back all of those three times. He is standing right here when usually, he should be in a fucking coma, he has lost more people than you will ever known, he has gone through stuff that only him could ever experience. He was the werewolf that destroyed 'La Bête de Gévaudan', he might not deserve his power but it's his noneless. Now, he wants to talk and you will listen, bitter werewolves!"

"Thanks, Stiles." Scott said and looked at the crowd. "I know you were all skeptical with the decision of bringing a smaller pack into your home, it is true, I am not like you guys. I was not born a werewolf and I didn't have any proper training. I was thrown into your world like a kid who can't swin thrown into the ocean. But I can assure you I am not my father."

Micheal snorted. "That can be a debate." He shook his head. "Why would we want to join packs with you? There has never been two Alphas in the same pack and what can you offer us? You have nothing."

Scott nodded. "True, my pack and I don't have anything to offer that you guys don't know. But we have something that we don't offer but we give, is something you don't have at all. And I talked to Talia about it."

Joshua frowned. "And what would that be?"

"We have each other." Scott answered. "We might be the same kind but we lived in a total different world than you, while you guys lived in a kind and relaxed environment, your kids learnt all things about the supernatural in their time and practice fighting styles since they were two, we haven't."

Eveyone stayed quiet, a sign of wanting to know what the Alpha was going to say.

"We were thrown into this world without a choice, without a hint. We learnt mythology or supernatural creatures names by necessity. We learnt to fight for survival, we learnt to cope with death because we have seen it way too much. We have been through everything together and that's what makes us a family. Not a pack. A family." Scott started to walk around the room.

"You have ranks, you have a social order. That's normal and needed in a pack. But you guys are not family. I can see that you barely know your nephews, nieces, sons or daughters. You have been too busy with power, order and ranks that you forgot the main reason of a pack. To be with each other when things get hard." He looked at his small pack. "We have lost too much and we keep losing stuff. And in this world, we are the only thing we have. We are a family."

He direct his attention to the crowd again. "Pain? We have our fair share of pain. Emotional and physical. We lived in a world where we have to fight each day to protect our town. We lost people, we lost personalities, we lost everything we had. And in a time, we lost each other. We been through pain, we been tortured for money, power and hate. And sometimes, that hate got to us. There were times we all wanted to give up and when everything was lost. We held unto the one thing no one could ever take away from us."

"And what would that be?" Joshua snorted.

"Hope." Scott answered. "We held unto hope. When everything was lost, we held unto the hope that we had each other and that in time, we would solve the problem." He looked at everyone and flashed his red eyes.

"I did not ask for this. I never wanted to be one of yours. All I ever wanted was to be first line in the Lacrosse team, I never asked to be a werewolf. And I did not ask to be the son of one of the cruelest werewolf in the world." He sighed. "We were sixteen when all of this started, we were kids thrown into an adult war and while other teenagers thought of prom or test, we thought about saving the town and hoping we would survive the day. Let me tell you, I have many enemies, enemies that train, hate and lose everything they have just to have a bullet through my head. And I didn't ask for this."

"You're saying you never had a choice." Joshua said.

Scott shook his head. "Oh, I did. I did not have a choice when I became a werewolf, nobody asked me if I wanted to be one. But I had a choice afterwards, I could join my father and be a killer, I could move out of the country and forget all of my friends or I could accept my gift and use it for the better. And every single day, I had the same choice, to give up or to give it all I got. And every day I make the same choice, to give it everything I got."

"Yes, I don't have anything to offer you that you don't know. But I have something that you guys don't have, I have my family with me. Because they have been with me since the beginning and they will be with me when this all ends. You have in your eyes, a family that have been through, hate, pain, grief, loss and much more but they all still have a kind heart. We stand where others gave up, we fight when everyone has lost, when there's no way, we make our own and when we fall down, we stand up higher than ever. And we still care for each other, we still remember our lost ones and we still believe in the good in people." Scott smiled.

"We have each other and that's all we need. If you don't want us with you, we'll leave. And you'll see how powerful we are but not because we know how to fight or because we have strength, is because we have a bond that will never be broken. You can either be our friend or our enemy and if you're our friend, you'll receive everything we have but if you're our enemy, you'll know us by the wrong way. I never killed and never will, all the guilt and burden of my pack I will carry because I know they will carry me too if I fall. Because I'm Scott McCall, True Alpha of the McCall pack and I won't back down and I will fight for what's right."

"And that's what makes your a better Alpha than all this morons, Scott." Talia smiled and rolled her eyes at her family. "When I brought you in, I saw a big heart, an immense courage, a stubborn mind and a big family in you. You saved the life of my son even when you don't like him and you'll have my respect forever.

"Thanks, Talia." Scott bowed.

"But Talia don't you think we ha-" Micheal began.

"I accept your offer, Scott. Because you have a lot to offer that we don't know. And we all will be honored to have you in our pack."

"Thanks for the opportunity, I won't let you down." Scott smiled.

"I know."

I can actually see Scott give that immense speech to all those assholes.
