Mina, despite being Class 1-A's shipper, has never been in a relationship nor has she ever thought about being in one. That all changed when she met him. Sero. He was a normal guy, minus the tape dispenser on both his arms, but something about him always caused Mina to have an interest in him. About 2 months after being in AU the two started talking and they've been extremely close ever since.
During the night of Ojiro and Toru's first 'date' Mina had received a message from Denki.
Denki: Hey! Ashido, I've got something to tell ya!
Mina: What's up?
Denki: I think Sero likes you.
Mina's bright pink cheeks were replaced by bright red cheeks as she read the message. She had liked Sero for a while and the idea of him having feelings for her was unbelievable. She was still in denial though, she messaged Toru and turned her phone off and took a few minutes to recollect her thoughts. She then remembered a photo on her phone. She dived for her device, unlocking it as fast as she could and went to her gallery and found a picture of Sero. His sweet smile filled her heart with joy as she stared at the photo the two had taken together after the sports festival. She wanted to ask him out, but she knew she would mess it up somehow.
A few days had passed since Denki sent the message. Sero still had no clue about it, that was until Denki informed him on that.
"Hey! Sero, ma man! I've got something to tell ya!" The blonde haired student called as he sat next to Sero, his face having a small smirk on it.
"What's up?" Sero asked, taking a bite out of his sandwich.
"I might of told Mina about your little crush on her" Denki explained, chuckling slightly as he did so.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" Sero yelled, dropping his sandwich on the floor and grabbing Denki by the collar of his shirt.
"Woah woah woah dude, chill." Denki said calmly, pushing Sero away breaking his grip from his own collar.
"How am I suppose to chill?!" Sero yelled. He then rushed up to his dorm room and wacked his head against his door.
"What happned?" Jiro asked, rubbing her eyes as she entered the common room. "I heard a bunch of yelling.."
"Nothing for you to worry about sweetheart." Denki answered, smiling at the sleepy Jiro.
After that, Sero didn't trust Denki with any information. But one morning he walked to Kirishima's dorm as the whole Bakusquad was called.
"Right!" Kirishima began, his finger pointing in the air "We're heading out for the day!" He announced.
"Why?" Bakugo grunted, his head rested on his hand.
"Im not sure, just wanted to go somewhere!" His partner answered.
Sero sat there and sighed, he thought about something and his face burnt up slightly.
"So Sero, watcha thinking about?" The electric student asked mockingly, a smirk across his face.
"Nothing!" Sero yelled, hiding his face.
"You were thinking about her, huh?" Denki teased.
"Shut up." The tape quirk user snapped. Mina heard their conversation, her face burning up slightly.
Denki, had a sutble plan. He wanted to bring Jiro along, simply so he could request that everyone split up. Since Kirishima and Bakugo were in a relationship that would be the best plan to leave Sero and Mina along.
A little while later, the bakusquad left the dorms. Much to Denki's pleasure, he was able to bring his partner along. Once they arrived at a small park, Denki proposed his idea. "How about we split up in pairs?" He asked while Jiro was cuddling his arm.
"Sounds good!" Kirishima nodded. "Right! I'll be with Katsuki, Kami you'll be with Jiro and Sero will be with Ashido!" Kirishima announced, before being dragged away by his partner. Denki also left, taking Jiro with him. This left Sero and Mina alone.
"Great." Was all Sero could think as he turned to face Mina.
"So.. Er.. What do you want to do?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck.
"W-wanna j-just walk ar-round?" The acid quirk user stuttered, her face beginning to burn up.
The two had been walking for a while now, finally a conversation started.
"How much do you wanna bet that Kirishima and Bakugo are making out right now?" Sero asked, chuckling slightly.
"All my money" Mina replied, giggling.
"Same here" The two continued talking more and more until the were growing tired.
"How about we go sit under a tree?" Sero asked, pointing at a tree. Mina nodded, it had begun raining. It wasn't heavy, but it was still rain. The two darted under the tree and continued their conversation there. They discussed the couples of their class and how obvious some of them were.
"Uraraka and Midoriya are obviously going out." Mina commented.
"Agreed" her friend agreed, resting his head against the tree.
After a few minutes, Mina was beginning to grow tired, her body was growing heavier and heavier as she tried to sit up straight. She ended up leaning on something, she didn't know what is was. But it was comfortable.
"Erm... Ashido..?" A familiar voice called her name. Her eyes opened slowly, only to reveal that she was leaning on Sero's shoulder. Her face immediately went red as he she quickly stood back up and for some reason she began to run. She didn't know why, she wanted to leave. She didn't want to be embarrassed in front of him, she just didn't. During all her thoughts, she felt something wrap around her arm.
"Tape?" She thought, her thoughts were cut off by her being pulled back and landing in someone's arms. His arms.
"Where are you going?" He asked, his voice soft.
"I... Dont know..." Mina answered, hiding her face away from him.
"How can you not know?" Sero jokingly asked, sitting down with Mina still in his arms.
"I just... Wanted to get away.." Mina admitted, quietly.
"From what?" Sero asked, looking quite confused.
"Y-You.. I was leaning on your shoulder, and I felt really awkward about it..." Mina whispered, her face still bright red.
"Why would you feel awkward..? You were just leaning on my shoulder.." Then, Mina couldn't hold it back anymore.
"Because I like you damn it!" She yelled, hiding her face with her hands.
"Y-You lik-ke me?" Sero stuttered, his face slowly turning red. A nod was all he received, clearly she was too embarrassed about what she just said.
"W-Well... I like you too..." Was all he could say as he felt Mina bury her face into his chest.
"Hey Sero..." Mina called after a while, her voice muffled.
"What's up?" The tape quirk user responded.
"Will you go out with me?"
"Gladly."
The idea of dating someone was weird to Mina, even though she was the class shipper, but now she was dating someone. Not just anyone, the boy of her dreams. Hanta Sero.
"I wonder how everyone is gonna react..." Mina whispered.
"Kaminari is gonna be extremely happy." Her partner chuckled, running his hand through her pink hair.
"Yeah..." Was all she could say, she wanted to stay like this forever. She wanted to stay with him for as long as possible. She never felt this way about a guy before. It was weird, but a good kind of weird. She felt.. Complete.
