Momo had always loved shopping. This was because she always had so much money to spend. Her partner, Shoto on the other hand wasn't the biggest fan of shopping. He found it boring, unless of course if he needed something. His farther had recently given him money. He promised that he would use it for training equipment. But that was a lie. It has a certain someone's birthday the next day and he wanted to take them somewhere special.
The sun crept through Shoto's window. But he wasn't mad, he had already been awake. Planning. He got out of his bed and found a shirt. He put it on and left his dorm room. He wanted to go to the common room and plan further, but all his plans were ruined as he noticed Momo sat on the sofa. He smiled slightly and walked silently so he was now behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach. She let out a little yelp from shock, but calmed down slightly as she realised who was hugging her. "Morning Shoto..." She whispered, a smile on her face.
"Good morning sweetheart..." Her partner whispered back. He walked in front of her after a few minutes and put his hand in front of her. "I want to take you somewhere.." Shoto smiled as Momo took his hand and was now on her feet.
Shoto took the creation girl outside the dorm rooms and began walking to a shopping area near the school.
"Sh-Shoto...? Why are we going shopping? You hate shopping." Momo stuttered, after relasing where they were going.
"We're going because its a special day." Shoto answered, his voice as monotone as ever. The two stopped and Shoto looked his partner in the eyes. His index finger was curled up and placed under Momo's chin and pulled her in for a kiss. Their lips interlocked for a few minutes before Shoto pulled away and gazed into her eyes once more. "Happy birthday..." He whispered, a smile on his normally dull looking face.
"Sh-Shoto..." Momo whispered, wrapping her arms around him. A giant smile on her face.
Once the couple started to walk to the shopping centre, Shoto took Momo's hand. It wasn't a massive move, but it put a smile on both their faces. Especially Shoto's. Momo had such soft skin, her hands where like portable cushions. The two arrived at the shopping centre and Momo entered fangirl mode. She pointed at all the dresses and discussed how pretty they were and what materials they were made with. Her partner simply smiling as he listened to her, an idea then popped into his head.
"Hey Momo. Which one is your favourite?' He asked in his normal monotone voice.
"Hmmm, this one!" The rich girl answered pulling out a dress, it was a regular one, but it was black and covered with small flowers. The icy-hot quirk user nodded, taking the dress from his girlfriends hand. Momo looked confused when she saw Shoto pull out his wallet. After a while he returned with it, now in a bag.
"Here" He said, pushing the bag against her chest until she took the bag.
"Sh-Shoto..?" Momo whispered, looking confused.
"Its my present to you.." Shoto whispered, kissing Momo's cheek.
The creation girl, covered her mouth before wrapping her arms around her partner. "Thank you..." She whispered, tightening her grip around him. Shoto returned the hug and rested his head on Momo's shoulder. "Should we continue looking around..?' He whispered into her ear.
"Yeah.."
The two left the shop, Momo cuddling Shoto's arm whilst Shoto held the bag with her new dress inside.
"Where do you want to go now?" The half and half quirk user asked, smiling slightly
"I don't know... How much money have you got left..?" The creation girl asked, looking up at Shoto.
"I have a little bit left, want to go and grab a bite to eat?" Shoto asked, puting his wallet back into his pocket.
"Sounds good!" And then the thought hit Momo. He used most his money on her and not himself, she began to feel selfish. She didn't enjoy taking other people's money. Despite her having so much, she hated people buying her things. Especially when they dont have alot. "Sh-Shoto.." She began, her voice quiet.
"What's the matter Momo?"
"Would you like some of my money? You've used so much on me and I'd like to give you some money in return.." Momo explained, reaching into her purse.
"No, its quite alright. Its your birthday and I wanted to treat you." Shoto answered, pulling Momo's hand out of her purse.
"Are you sure?" Momo asked.
"I'm sure, don't worry sweetheart..."
The two finally arrived at a small restaurant and they sat a small table with two seats sat opposite eachother. They ordered their food and began talking. Mainly about school and various other topics.
Their food finally arrived and they began digging into their food. They both finished, paid for their food and left. It was now the late evening and Shoto had an idea.
"Momo, follow me.." He said blandly as he he began walking to a small bench by the cliff. As they arrived, Momos eyes widened at the sight. It was beautiful. But there was another reason she was shocked.
"Is this the bench-"
"Yes, this is the exact bench you asked me out on." Shoto finished her sentence and led the creation girl to the bench and sat down. After a while, Momo rested her head onto her partners shoulder.
The view was beautiful. The sunset reflecting onto the calm ocean. Momos hand interlocked with her partners and her hair layer all over his shoulder. She couldn't be happier.
"Hey Momo" Shoto began
"Yes, Shoto?" The creation girl answered.
"You know what's more beautiful than this?"
"Me?" Momo asked, a slightly chuckle escaping her lips.
"Yeah.." Shoto answered.
"Too predictable my dear... Too predictable.." Her partner chuckled. Shoto couldn't help but smile as he heard Momo's adorable giggles.
"I love you Shoto..." Momo whispered suddenly, catching him off guard.
"I-I love you too..." He stuttered, smiling sightly, his grip tightening around her soft hand.
The two stayed there for the next few hours until they had to go to the dorms. They arrived a few minutes after they were called and a huge party for Momo had been set up. It also surprised Shoto slightly. The party was a success. Momo stayed with Shoto most of the time but did talk to everyone else. It was one of Momo's best days. She spent most of the day with the love of her life and all of her friends threw her an amazing birthday party.
