Snoutlout's POV

I glance behind me to only see darkness, "Oh Thor, we lost them." My body flung forward as Hookfan flapped his wings in one spot, "Uh, Hookfan, why did you stop? You need to keep going! Hiccup will figure out where to go." My voice grew to a whisper, "hopefully."

A loud boom vibrated through the stormy sky causing Hookfan to fly straight down. The wind threaten to throw me off the saddle, "Hookfan!" I yelled gripping the leather saddle tightly, I could feel my butt slowly being lifted from it, "Stop! Stop! Stop!" I bellowed. A blinding bright light came into my view, "W-What is that?" My hand went in front of the light as Hookfan leveled out flying toward it.

I squinted to see a large group of soldiers on the small piece of land.

Oh no, this is a trap.

"Hookfan! You gotta-" A loud roar cut me off, my eyes widen in terror, "Oh my Thor, Hiccup!" My dragon roared even louder flying faster toward the growing bright light.

As we got closer, I noticed a big black figure struggling against the men trying to contain it.

That has to be...

"Toothless! Hookfan, fire!" On command, my dragon's body caught fire, opening its mouth to release a line of fierce fire on the soldiers flying straight down before leveling above them. Screams echoed through the air as they raced to the water.

Okay okay okay, where's Hiccup?

My eyes locked with Toothless whose eyes were so big with worry. Hookfan's claws digged into the dirt coming to a full stop. I jumped off him running over to the black dragon, "Where is he boy?"

Toothless moved his head between my legs throwing me up in the air, a high pitch scream released from my lungs as my butt landed on Hiccup's saddle. In a flash, the wind blasted through my long hair. I leaned forward trying to stay on Toothless.

I love this Dragon's determination. Of course, I want to find him just as badly. If we don't, Stoick will have my head.

It was too dark to see anything but the sound of Toothless panting echoed off the walls of what I assumed was a cave.

This island is too small, they couldn't have gotten that far.

Small bits of light were seen in the distance. My heart sank to my stomach.

No no no...

"C'mon Toothless! Faster! Faster Faster! We can't let them get away!"  My heart was on fire, I felt panic rise up in me as my breathing began rigid.

The closer we got to the lights, the farther they went. Toothless wined through a loud roar. He paced back and forth along the shoreline.

There's no way I'm leaving empty handed!

I jumped off Toothless and onto Hookfan. Toothless tried to grab me with his teeth, "I'm sorry boy, you can't come with us. I'll get Hiccup back, I promise." He paused before nodding once.

With a swoosh, Hookfan took off toward the disappearing ships.

I'm not leaving empty handed...I have to get him back. Stoick will never forgive me. I'll never forgive myself! Why didn't I stay close to him?

My heart pounded hard against my chest, "C'mon Hookfan, you need to go faster."

"Dragon rider!" A soldier cried out pointing at me and Hookfan. The bright lit torches made it easier to see everyone on the ship. What was even more lucky was that it was only one ship.

"Down Hookfan!" I commanded pulling out a long sword gripping it tightly. Arrows whizzed past us until Hookfan roared in victory as his claws digged into the ship's wooden slabs. With a swish of his tail, my dragon wiped out the soldiers standing before us, some falling into the water while others laid motionless. "Yes! Good job!" A loud creak came from behind us. Quickly, I jumped back with Hookfan who set his whole body on fire growling. My hand shaking with my sword tightly gripped.

"What a pleasant surprise," A deep voice boomed through the air. With every step he took, the floor quaked beneath us. My eyes widen at the well body build man. He was nearly as big as Stoick. His black beard was twisted and ratted his eyes twitching before narrowing it into my eyes.

"Who are you?" My voice shook heavily.

The man snarled, hiding his arm behind him, "I'm Alvin the Treacherous. What are you doing on my ship boy?!"

"I'm looking for Hiccup Haddock the Third! I know you took him. I suggest you give him back before we have to do things the hard way," With the snap of a finger, my dragon roared loudly charging up his fire. "Where is  he!" I demanded holding my hand out in front of my dragon while the other held the sword in front of me.

Alvin chuckled in amusement, "You really think  some pathetic dragon is gonna stop me? Yes, I know where that pathetic runt is. In fact, I'd say he's right here."

My eyes narrowed at his hidden hand watching him throw a lifeless like Hiccup on the hard cold wood.

"H-Hiccup!" I rushed to his side pulling his limp body into my lap. My ear pressed against his chest.

Please let there be a heart beat...please let there be a heart beat...

A soft peaceful thumping filled my ears. I sighed in relief lifting him up in my arms.

"Don't worry, I didn't hurt him. Not yet anyway."

His mocking words echoed through my mind, "Why did you kidnap him then?" I glared at him to see a small smirk on his face.

"Oh Snoutlout," He taunted stroking his beard, "I just follow orders."

Viggo?

"For viggo?" I knew the answer.

His evil chuckle made me look directly into his eyes, my brows knitting together, "It's not him I work for."

What?

"If...if it's not him then..who?"

He folded his arms against his chest, "I'm afraid that I can't tell you," He clapped his hands together, "Well, I'm sorry to say but looks like our time is up." Almost on demand, his soldiers surrounded us.

"Until we meet next time, my friend." He disappeared into the darkness as he stepped back into the shadows.

My dragon roared knocking the soldiers on their backs with the swish of his sharp tail. I scramble onto Hookfan's back, one hand gripping his horn the other wrapping around Hiccup's stomach to keep him steady but his body slouched over.

My dragon's wings flapped as he quickly flew straight up, "Hookfan.." I warned gripping Hiccup tighter.

He leveled out flying fast out of the darkness and into the bright sunlight, "Alright, Berk is only fifteen minuets away from here." I glanced down at Hiccup who was rested his head against my chest.

"W-Where...am I?" He mumbled his eye lids flickering open. His green eyes hazy and unfocused.

"Hiccup! Are you alright? We're heading back to Berk." I watched him struggle to sit up.

"B-Berk?" His weak voice made my heart ache.

I cleared my throat trying to hide the worry, "Yes, we'll be there shortly."

My eyes rested on his peaceful face as his eyes squeezed closed. A sigh escapes my lips as my eyes travel down Hiccup's arm. In the middle of his arms, a small dot grew more red.

Looks like...

I traced my finger gently across the dot as I felt my heart break, "He....He..." I struggled to release the words.

"He...injected him...with something..." My voice gradually turned into a whisper feeling Hiccup struggle again to sit up.

"Hookfan, you need fly faster bud. Who knows what Alvin put in him."

Please be okay Hiccup...
