On the next morning, Lionel is looking for Aari in the wood, worried that something might had happen to her. Before he knew it where she is, she suddenly appeared in front of him. Her dress had been torn apart and very dirty with mud, twigs and leaves.

“What happen to you Aari? Are you okay? I thought you were in trouble or something.” Said Lionel with full of worry and suddenly without Aari imaged that it would happen to her, he hugs her.

She just freezes in Lionel’s arm and don’t know what to do. Should she hug him back or ask him to let her go? She never felt a warm hug like this before, never in her life. It feels warm, protected and love. Then Lionel release her and hold her hand instead.

“Let’s go Aari. We don’t want my mother ask any weird question about your disappearance and your dress too when she sees you.” Said Lionel and he take her to the castle to clean her.

After she’s been clean, Lionel had setting the pack and the horse ready for both of them to get to Floradale. Before they even go, his mother, the queen babbling about Aari appearance, her cloth and why did she hid her face from her while she’s talking to her and the queen hates her very much.

While for Aari, she almost wants to breath her fire and scratch with her diamond claws on the queen’s face and Lionel get a chance to stop her before they got in trouble. Beside that queen is his mother even though everyone hates her but she’s still their queen and a mother of Clarence
and Lionel. But eventually the king let them go and stop the queen from babbling about Aari.

“Your mother is an awful woman and I hate her. Does she always condemn people like that especially to a poor people and how ugly they are?”

“Well she’s being like that since I was ever born but she’s being like that because of her past. You see, when my mother was young, before he married with my father, her stepmother tough
her opposite ‘Perfection was everything’ that’s what she said to her. Until now, she’s being like
th is for forever I think. Sometimes I’m just tired of her perfection and judging people. I don’t like it at all but somehow my brother followed her footstep and now they become like a
perfection team for everything.”

Aari didn’t say much instead she’s thinking about what Lionel said just now. The word ‘Perfection’ was in her life before she’s been cursed. Everything she desired and jewelry she had before always been perfect for her look and that already changed after she became a hideous
creature. An hour had pasted by and they had arrived to the front gate of Floradale.

“Floradale. I’m finally home.” Aari whisper to herself.
