The Dragon's Heart

Chapter 38

Prince Kaden or should they say King Kaden now, he sitting on her father throne wearing her father crown and his face show how pride he is with all the treasure of diamonds and jewel
around him.

“What is the meaning of this?” Said the king.

“We found two intruders wandering around in castle.” Said the guards. Aari and Lionel both had been force to kneel down in front of the king and their hands have been chained and they got nowhere to go or to free themselves.

“Intruders! Who are you?”

“You don’t deserve this crown Kaden. This is my father’s throne. Where is my parent?”

Aari step forward like she wants to charged Kaden any minute but the guard pull the chain back to hold Aari from doing anything to hurt the king while Aari didn’t care anymore. Her eyes and her gemstone shine bright of angered and she yell at the king.

“You don’t speak to the king like that.” Roar the guards and they pull up the weapon of a sudden
move.

“Your parent? You are not-” suddenly the king’s eyes saw something bright on her chest behind the cloak. It’s a pendant but the stone is from the dragon’s heart.

“Is that a dragon’s heart? Is that you Princess Aaricia? Unbelievable! It is you.”

“Give me back the throne that you stole from my father! You are no right for the king of Floradale!” Aari growled at him with full angered in her heart right.

Her fangs came out and so as her scale too. When she’s in angered, one of the guard hit her on her head and that make her
angered even more.

“Well, well princess Aaricia. I never thought this would happen to you after you disappeared like this. It is such a long time ago. One time you and I are fiancé and now look at you. What a hideous.” Said Kaden with disguised when he looked at her.Aari felt so ashamed but at the same
she wants a revenge.

“And who might you be? You look least hideous than her.”

“He was with her. Breaking into the castle together.” Said the guard.

“Well look him away in the dungeon except for this beast. I want something from her.” He said
with a devilish smile on his face.

The guards took Lionel in the dungeon while Aari left alone
with Kaden and the guards left them alone. Lionel been send away to the dungeon while yelling at her name and he can see Aari’s eyes full with guilty when she saw him.

When Lionel been send to the dungeon, it is just Aari and Kaden alone. The guards are all out from the throne room under the king’s command and when she looked at him, she started to
growl under her breath.

“Well it is just you and me alone now. I still remember when I try to kiss you in the garden back when we were fiancé and you try to run away from me. And I try to be patient with your attitude when you were so proud of yourself of your beauty and the treasures that you own. I hate it. All I
ever want it to make my kingdom and my soldier strong. Stronger than other kingdoms so that I can ruled the other kingdom too. But then I heard that your father gave you the dragon’s heart and I’m not happy about it because when you get the stone, you will have the power that you
desire. And so I decide to marrying you and killed you after that and I will be the rightful throne
and will get the power that I desire.”

“Then you have to get through my body first.” She spits at him and started to lose her temper and
the dragon inside her started to losing control too.

Her bones were cracking and her nails growing and curving into sharp hooks with a point that could slit any animal open from head to toe. And then the scales, the shiny armor covered her skin, thick claws digging up the fine grains.

Her tail thumped and curled around her side and she stretched her wings out and causing a massive gust of wind that smashed the floor and the chandelier. After she had changed into a massive dragon, she breath fire to Kaden without any
mercy anymore. She’s losing control and destroyed everything in the castle.
