Chapter 6: Rematch with Hercule

Tomorrow came in a blink of an eye. The excitement of finding out your current power was eating you up inside. Instead of Videl waking you up. You were the one waking her. "Wake up Videl!" You said trying to wake her. Unexpectedly you were pulled into bed by a sleepy Videl. "Wha-" You reacted by being pulled in bed with Videl. "Mmmmm, five more minutes...." Videl mumbled as she cuddled up with you. "Uh, V-v-videl." You stammered with a big blush. Videl started to open her eyes barely, soon her eyes shot wide open as her faced changed completely with embarrassment. Upon realizing what was happening. "Y/n.... what are you doing here...." Videl stammered. "You sorta pulled me on your bed..." You answered blushing. You thought Videl's face couldn't get any redder, but you would be wrong as her face turned even darker shade red. "I'm so sorry!" She screamed as she rushed to her bathroom and locked the door. You got out of bed and walked towards her bathroom. "I-I- I'll see you breakfast." You told Videl with a slight blush. "Ok...." came a meek reply.

Breakfast was a little awkward. Videl seemed to be pay more attention to her food then talking to you. Hercule excused himself early, to prepare for today's training. Leaving Videl in a horribly predicament to talk to you. Glancing at Videl you decided to break the ice. "So Videl... ab-" you were interrupted by a knock on the door. Both you raised up to get the door. You open the door wondering who it was. The person knocking was none other then Bulma. "Hey Bulma! How are you?" You asked her. "I'm doing pretty good." Bulma replied. "So are you here to check on my progress?" You asked her. Bulma nodded at your question. "Meet me outside and I'll check your power level." Bulma told you. "Alright! Come on Videl, let's get ready!" You said to Videl as you practically dragged her up stairs to get ready to train. "Eeep!" Videl managed to squeak out. After heading upstairs, Videl finally said something. "Hey! I'm not a rag doll!" Videl complained. "Yeah, sorry about that." You apologized. "I guess I'll forgive you this time." Videl said sticking her tongue out at you in a joking manner.

You put on your training jumpsuit. Preparing for today's challenge. Videl and you walked outside to look for Bulma. You see Bulma sitting on a railing waiting for you guys to appear. Bulma waves upon seeing both of you. Upon reaching Bulma, you see she has her scouter already in her hand. "And now for the moment of truth." Bulma said putting on the scouter. She stayed for a few seconds and then her eyes bugged out. "No way that be right." She said to herself. Bulma removes and clicks a button, rebooting the scouter. After this she puts it back on. A few seconds later..... "I guess the scouter isn't broken." Bulma said. "Why is that?" You asked. Bulma smiled at you. "Because according to this thing your current power level is 60." Bulma explained. Both Videl and you were surprised at this. You didn't just double your power level, you almost times it by four! "I passed my goal of doubling my level." You told everyone. "Now I just one last goal to beat." Videl turned towards you. "And what would that be?" Videl asked. "To defeat Hercule!" You shouted. "If that's the case, then we have a surprise for you" Videl said grabbing your attention. "Really what is it?" You asked her. "Follow me." Videl simply stated. Everyone follows Videl inside the mansion.

After walking for awhile, you begin to come across unfamiliar parts of the house. Videl didn't say anything as lead everyone across the house. "Where are we going?" You asked her. "That would ruin the surprise." Videl answered. You stayed quite as Bulma chuckled at your attempt to find out. "Surprises are best left unspoiled." Bulma told you. "Fine I'll be patient." You sighed. Upon reaching a big room, Videl opened the door and showed you the big surprise. In the room was an arena. With different sets of weights and strange, you could only assume training gear. In the middle of the arena. Stood the supposed strongest man on earth; Hercule Satan.

"Are you ready for your final challenge?" You heard asked. "Yes I am." You replied. Videl told you get into the arena, you walked to the side opposite of Hercule and jumped in the arena. Videl jumped in the side in the middle of you and Hercule.
"This will be one on one match!" Videl yelled, acting like a referee. "The winner is declared by knocking out your opponent. You may use any of your fighting techniques at your disposal." Videl continued. "Y/n If you win this, you will move onto your next level of training. Failing will mean you still have to improve before advancing on." Videl at looked back at both of you. "Without a further to due, let the match.... begin!" Videl yelled as she hoped out of the arena.

You observe Hercule on the other side. He was grinning like an idiot. Being cautious you kept your distance. You wouldn't want to take any chances of losing if Hercule had anything up his sleeve. Slowly but surely you begin to circle Hercule, letting him make the first move. Hercule kept standing there and waiting. Finally you decide to slowly approach him with a high guard. After approaching Hercule. You prepared to kick only to stop when you see him give a present? Putting your leg back. You Hercule trying to give you a gift. "Here, it's a present for you!" Hercule shouted happy. You looked at Hercule like he lost his mind. "Come on take it! It's a gift for all your hard work!" Hercule told you. Hercule didn't seem to plan anything as his body was relaxed. Reluctantly you took the gift from Hercule. Opening it with caution, you see the new video game handheld console that was released just last week! Your eyes sparked at such a wonderful gift. Hercule walked to one side on the arena and grinned as he held a button that would detonate the video game bomb. The explosion wouldn't kill you but it will ensure Hercule's victory. Videl had already picked up on what her father was planning and wanted to warn you...... but this was test to see through deception. Even if it was test, Videl didn't want to see you get hurt.
You were still joyful of the gift Hercule gave you and then you grinned at the thought of what to do with this game.
Using all your might you could muster, you flung the game straight at Hercule. Hercule pushed the button and grinned at the thought of an easy win. Suddenly Hercule's face turned pale white as the game smacked him right in the face as he turned towards you. "Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" Hercule screamed as the bomb detonated. Booooom! Was the sound heard as the bomb went off. In the spot of the explosion stood a smoking Hercule. "Uuuuhhh...." Hercule grunted as he collapse to the ground.

Videl appeared in the arena with glee. "One... two.... three!" Videl shouted. "By knock out the winner is Y/n!" Bulma clapped at your first official victory. Videl ran over and hugged you. "Good job on your first victory." Videl congratulated you. "How did you know my father was tricking you?" Videl asked. "Well my first thought when Hercule gave me a gift, was he must have had ulterior motive for giving me a gift." You explained. "I knew the present was going to explode so I faked enjoying the gift. Then after his guard was down, I three the bomb as he was about detonate it. Leaving me an easy victory." You finished explaining. Bulma walked up towards both of you. "Wow, I guess we can add intellect to your completed training." Bulma said complimenting you. "Thanks." You said bashful. Bulma inspected your tracksuit. "I'll bring you some weighted clothing tomorrow, plus some gear." Bulma added. Suddenly you remembered Hercule and checked on him. "Hercule?" A silence is all you got in reply. "Is he going to be alright?" You asked Videl. "Yeah he will, my dad has been through worse. Trust me I've seen it." Videl reassured you.

Videl and you took Hercule to his bed to let him sleep in peace and not on arena floor. After that you went back to arena to train for a bit. You tried to test how many vanishes you could make before you ran out stamina. While trying your stamina, you chatted with Videl and Bulma. While chatting with Bulma, she told you an interesting topic. "Ki? As in energy in your body?" You asked Bulma. "Something like that." Bulma answered. "We'll have a look at ki tomorrow, when I bring in your new training gear." You thanked Bulma and Videl for they for you so far. If it wasn't for them you wouldn't have never gotten stronger. Both the girls were happy to help you attain your goal to get stronger. Now your next goal is to try to work with Ki.
