Chapter 25: The final showdown! Blue Mask vs Y/n!

The announcer was nice enough to let you see your friends one last time before the fight. Everyone sat down talking with.
"Are sure your ready Y/n?" Videl said worried. "Relax, I observed Blue Mask in his last fights. So I'm at least prepared for some of his attacks." You said trying to ease the tense. "Never underestimate your opponent." Master Roshi mentioned looking at Bulma's bosom. "And I say never ogle eye women!" Bulma yelled as she smacked Master Roshi.
You chuckled at Bulma smacking Master Roshi. "I guess your right about Blue Mask.... who knows what he's capable of..." You say as you get up. "I better start heading to the arena... Can you guys watch over Chi-chi while I'm fighting?" You ask everyone. "You can count on us!" Videl said bouncing on her feet. "Show that Blue jerk who's boss!" Bulma added. You nodded and smiled at them before you start head out the door. Only for you to be grabbed by Videl. "Videl?" You said as Videl hugged you. "Please be safe Y/n..." Videl said quietly before breaking the hug and running off to watch over Chi-chi. You let out a small chuckle before leaving.

Walking into the arena. The crowd cheered wildly upon seeing you. You smiled and waved at the crowd earning you more cheers from them.
The announcer stood in the middle of the arena with his Mic in hand.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and girls!" The announcer announced. "It is with my great pleasure to announce the tournament finale!" The crowd roared with more cheering. You finally see Blue Mask enter the arena as you follow suit. "It's time for the epic match between our top fighters! Y/n versus Blue Mask!" The announcer finished saying. Both you and Blue Mask walked up to each one another. The announcer made sure to step between both of you to prevent an early fight. "Don't start anything yet...." the announcer warned.
Blue Mask ignored the announcer and continued to stare at you. You met his fierce gaze.
"I'm going to break you to pieces, just like I did to your lover!" Blue Mask mocked with a dark chuckle. You glared back at Blue Mask ignoring his comment. You tried not let Blue Mask get to you. Giving into your anger now, would cost you the entire match. Blue Mask continued to mock you. Hoping to gain an advantage with your anger. "You have some really nice friends..... it would be shame if you couldn't protect them after I'm done with you." Blue Mask threaten.
"..." You stayed quiet tryint to ignore Blue Mask.
The announcer finally raised his hand. "Let the match..... begin!" The announcer yelled as he flagged his hand down.

The moment the announcer's hand came down. Was the moment when both Blue Mask and you clashed. Everyone in the audience watch in amazement as they saw both you vanish and only saw both of you when you two clashed and interlocked, both of you were trying to gain the upper hand in every clash and conflict.
"Give up already!" Blue Mask yelled. "You can't beat me like this!" As much as you hated to admit it. Blue Mask was right. Despite all your training, Blue Mask seemed better trained and more skilled in martial arts. The thought finally hit you. That Blue Mask could have years of training compared to your small training time. Blue Mask definitely had the edge in close combat. Despite your high defense and guard, Blue Mask managed to break through a few times and strike you. "Ack!"You shouted as Blue Mask jabbed your gut. "Damn it!" You thought. "He hits harder then knight!" You quickly wiped the blood from your mouth as you tried to make distance between him. Blue Mask wouldn't let you get a chance to breath or gain distance as he rushed you with a barrage of attacks, forcing to go on the defense again. "Tch.... I don't know how much longer I can keep this up!" You thought as Blue Mask struck you again.
You studied Blue Mask's movements and realized something.
"Blue Mask has an extreme offense..... but maybe he has a weak defense..." You thought as you fended off more of Blue Mask attacks. You kept up with pace of Blue Mask's attacks. "I'm going to have to risk it!" You thought as you tried to block all Blue Mask's attacks. "One.....Two......Three!" You waited for Blue Mask's attacks to slow down. You left your defense down and took a few hits to the chest. "Ugh!" You yelled as you retaliated and unleashed your own barrage of attacks. "What!?" Blue Mask said surprised as he was sent on the defense form your sudden attacks. "Tsk! Little brat!" Blue Mask yelled as he blocked your attacks. Unfortunately even though you sent Blue Mask on the defense, You weren't counting on Blue Mask having an excellent defense. "Don't you get it yet kid!" Blue Mask said mocking you. "You can't beat me!" Blue Mask then strikes your side. "I'm faster!" You took another hit. "Stronger!" You took a punch to the jaw. "And more skilled!" Blue Mask yelled as he grabbed your throat. "Now give up before I crush your throat!" Blue Mask demanded.

You looked at Blue Mask "You're......" You tried to say as Blue Mask's grip tightened. "I'm what? Right?" Blue Mask said cocky. "You're.... You're wide open." Those were the words that made Blue Mask realize he made a mistake, as you blasted Blue Mask in the chest with a charged Ki blast. This was your true plan all along. You just needed one good shot to get passed his defence. "Gahh!" Blue Mask shouted as he let you go and backed away from you. "Lucky shot!" Blue Mask said coughing up some blood from your blast. You recovered from Blue Mask's choke hold.
Looking away you see your friends faces in the crowd. You would have smiled at them if you haven't seen the shocked expression on Bulma's and Master Roshi's face. "What's wrong?" You asked them as Bulma pointed at Blue Mask. You looked at Blue Mask and saw his cloth mask was blown off revealing his face underneath. This would have surprised you if you knew the face of who this was.
Blue Mask felt his face. Annoyed, he ripped the rest of the clothing away. "You really are a nuisance!" Blue Mask yelled. "Just like Goku!" You gave Blue Mask a questionable look. "You fought Goku before?" You asked. Blue Mask gave you chuckle. "Yes..... long ago.... before I suffered a terrible accident." Bulma took this opportunity to stick her head out into the arena. "Be careful Y/n!" Bulma shouted at you. You looked back at Bulma. "What do you mean? I already know to be careful." Bulma then explained. "The person your fighting is formerly part of red ribbon army!" Hearing the red ribbon army's name made you remember reading about them awhile back. They were a army bent on world domination.... as it would have seemed. You nodded at Bulma and turned your head back to Blue Mask only to receive a fist to your face. "Guhhhh!" You shouted at moved away. "Never take your eyes off your opponent!" Blue Mask warned.
You glared at Blue Mask as he charged a ki blast. "Here! Let me return the favor!" Blue Mask shouted before lobbing a giant ball of ki at you. "Woah!" You say as you dodge the attack before it explodes.

"Who are you!?" You shouted at Blue Mask. You received a sigh from the man before he started talking. "My former name is General Blue of the red ribbon army. Since the red ribbon army has been..... ruined you may just call me Blue." Blue said introducing himself. Unfortunately for you Blue went back to attacking you right after the explanation, making sure you didn't have time for a breather. "Tsk tsk tsk... still haven't learned yet, have you?" Blue said with a smirk. "You should never trust your opponent!" You counter Blue's attacks and both of you clash, trading punches, jabs and even kicks. "This is much better of a performance now!" Blue admitted to you. "Maybe you'll actually last.... unlike your girlfriend." Blue finished with a dark chuckle. Hearing Blue say this angered you. You blindly attacked rage, earning you a few jabs to the face and chest. "Ahhhhh!" You screamed as you spew up some more blood. "Hehehe, your still naive Y/n" Blue said mocking you. "I'm through playing around! Time to end to this!" Blue raised his hand and. Shot a few ki blasts at you. You tried you best to block all the shots but unknown to you Blue was charging up a special surprise for you. After blocking all of his ki blasts you charged at Blue.....

Everything went by in flash after that. Upon hearing "Buster Blaster!" You took a full on hit from Blue's attack.
"No...." You thought hitting the ground. "Y/n!" You hear your friends shout. Your eyes winch as you look up to see Blue standing over you. Before you could get up Blue held you down with his foot.
"Goodbye Loser!" Blue shouted raising his arm and charging a ki blast. "No....." You struggled to say as you tried to fight to stay conscious.
You couldn't lose! Not like this!

(Seems like Blue was more of a challenge then he let on to be. Will Y/n be able to fend of Blue and win the tournament? Or will he fall like most of Blue's foes. Stay tuned to find out next time!)
