Chapter 18: Tournament tag team part two

Sitting around in the waiting room, you see other fighters prepare for a fight. You look to the screen and see Strome going against the cowgirl twin girls. You also notice Strome's partner. "Hey it's that Violet headed girl from before." You thought to yourself. Strome has already left to the arena leaving you to watch the t.v. "I wish I could go see everyone..." You complained. Every fighter still competing was not allowed to see or hang out with the crowd. "I would be lying if I said I didn't want Strome to win." You said seeing Strome and his partner enter the arena. You hoped you could fight Strome again.

Strome went into the arena and stood by his partner. "So Strome do you want to handle these two by yourself? His partner asked. "Correct Violet."  Strome said as he observed his opponents. "Go get them big guy." Violet said lying down to take a nap. Strome finished observing his opponent. "Scaning complete. Threat level: none lethal to me. No need to power up. Strome said as he stepped up to both the girls. "Surrender now or prepare to fight." Strome said simply. "Uhhh sis this guy seems off." One of the twins said. "Maybe we should give up....." The other twin looked angry. "Are you kidding me we can't give up now!" She said angrily. "Watch and learn sis!" The feisty twin said as she threw her lasso at Strome. Strome simply let the lasso wrap around him. "Yahoo! I got a big one!" The feisty twin said as she tugged on the lasso to pull Strome in. Unfortunately he was too big to reel in. "Rrrrhh....rrrrhh.... just give me a sec......" The feisty twin said as she struggled. Strome took this opportunity to break the the lasso and grab the end that she was still holding. "Child's play." Strome said as he was about to pull her. The timd twin saw this coming. "Uhhh sis you may want to let go....." The other twin looked at her curiously. "What why?" She asked as soon as she was pulled straight into Strome's fist. Bam! And one of the twins was knocked out. "Uuugghh..." The feisty twin said before hitting the floor unconscious. "Eep!" The shy twin said as she scurried away from the giant man. "Stay back!" She shouted at Strome. "Surrender or fight!" Strome told her. "I surrender! Just don't hurt me!" The shy twin panicked. "And there you have it Ladies and Gentlemen! The winner is Strome and Violet!" The announcer exclaimed.

"Alright!" You shouted surprising everyone in the room. "Sorry..." You apologized to everyone. Strome had won his match, which means you two have a greater chance to fight each other. "Just you wait Strome I'll defeat you soon enough." You said to yourself. Upon seeing Strome you congratulated him. "Hey Strome, that was a great fight." You said to Strome. "Thank you but unlike yours mine was fair." Strome saw your reaction and corrected what he meant. "I meant the Snake school student was a cheater. He was low enough to try and poison you just to win." Strome looked at t.v. "The next match is about to start. I'm interested in seeing who else wins." Strome said as his attention was drawn to the television. "Right, I'll leave you be." You were about to leave before being stopped by Violet. "Did I do any good?" She said jokingly. "Yeah sure, you did pretty good sleeping on the job." You said sarcastically. "I know right!" Violet laughed. "I didn't want to ruin Strome's fun. Besides I should thank you." This surprised you. "Thank me for what?" Violet gave you grin. "Well after you fought Strome we collected data off from your fight to improve Strome." This surprised you more. "So that's what Igtel meant...." You thought. "Well I shouldn't keep you up any longer! See you later!" Violet said before taking off. You worry about who Igtel is and what he's planning. "I'll keep an eye on them." You thought to yourself.

Heading into Chi-chi's resting room. You see Chi-chi sitting up and watching the tournament on a T.v
"Oh Y/n! Did you see the match?" Chi-chi asked. "Yeah I did. By the way how are you feeling Chi-chi?" You asked her. "I'm feeling better, I can move around a lot more now." Chi-chi said as she got up and stretched. "All I needed was some rest." She reassured you. "Say that to your bruises and band aids on your body." You pointed out. Chi-chi laughed at your concern. "Don't be such a worry wart. I've been through worse trust me." You gave Chi-chi a smile. "Yeah I trust you." You sighed. "Oh look the match is starting!" Chi-chi said pointing at the t.v. in the screen you see a bearman and flashy ninja going against a blue clothed man and his partner..... a medieval knight? "Is that guy wearing knight armor....." You asked baffled. "Yep, that's definitely knight armor." Chi-chi confirmed. When the match begin the blue clothed man attacked the bear while the knight ironically karate chopped the ninja. The match lasted only a minute as the blue man and knight made short work of their opponents. "The winner is Blue Mask and knight! The announcer finished. You wondered what their real names were. "That was quite the interesting match." Chi-chi said to you. "Yeah but it was kinda short thought."
The next match surprised both of you even more.
A martial artist was wearing dark clothing with a scowl on his face. His partner was a monster Dragon type earthling his skin was navy blue with yellow eyes to match. "Woah amazing!" You said surprised. Their opponents were Orin monks from the orin temple. Both looked nervous at the dragon monster. The ending result of the match the martial artist and the dragon win by overwhelming the monks. The final match of the tag team segment was finished. "There you have it folks! The winner is Marshall and Drago. And that finishes our tag team segment! Now with that taken care of the next round will be start shortly! "Well teaming up was fun while it lasted." You commented. "Yeah it was." Chi-chi agreed. "I hope we don't have to fight." Chi-chi thought. The announcer appeared on the t.v. again.
"Alright! The next round is set up now! Would you kindly look at the broad to see the competitors!" The announcer said pointing at the screen behind him.

"Yes!" You shouted surprising Chi-chi. You weren't fighting against Chi-chi. You were fighting Draco instead. The broad was set up as:

Marshall vs Knight
Y/n vs Draco
Strome vs Blue Mask
Chi-chi vs Violet

"Chi-chi is going against Violet..... I hope Chi-chi can beat her." You thought to yourself. "So how are you feeling Chi-chi?" You asked her.
"I'm feeling way better. I can move around a lot more so I can fight." Chi-chi said getting up and doing some attacks. "See?" Chi-chi showed you. "Just please be careful." You tell Chi-chi before giving her a hug and leaving. "Hey wait up!" Chi-chi yelled as she went after you.

(Chapter 18 is now done. This chapter took a lot more thinking. The chapter really shows all the other competitors in the tournament. Thanks for reading and I'll you guys next chapter.)
