Chapter 24: The Tournament's semi final

(Warning ahead of time some major cursing may be ahead.)
You burst open through the doors, caching everyone's attention. "Here's our finalist now!" The announcer said. "I bet he's here to watch the show!" Everyone in the crowd cheered upon seeing you. "Umm, Thank you everyone." You replied back as you stood beside the arena. "Oh right!" The announcer yelled. "I forgot to mention since your the finalist, you can stand by the arena." The announcer explained. This news made you a bit more relaxed. "That's good, I don't have to worry about being disqualified." You thought to yourself. "Chi-chi!" You yelled catching her attention. Chi-chi turned towards you and shook her head at you, thinking you were going to try and stop her. "Let me finish! You goof!" You said defending yourself. "I'm not going to stop you...." You said looked at Chi-chi as you closed your eyes and open them again. "I want to wish you luck! Beat the crap out of that Blue guy!" You finished saying to Chi-chi as she smiled at you. "Thank you Y/n..... I'm going to win!" Chi-chi thought to herself. "For you!" Chi-chi turned back to Blue Mask, who rolled his eyes at her. "Do you honestly think you can beat me!?" Blue Mask said with a laugh. "You can't be serious! The moment you strike me, I'll crush you!" Chi-chi tried to not let the thought stick in her head as she took a fighting stance. "I can win this!" Chi-chi thought to herself. The announcer raised his hand in the air. You took another glance at Chi-chi. "I hope you're going to be ok Chi-chi....."You thought to yourself.

The announcer finally flagged his hand down. "Let the battle..... begin!" Chi-chi rushed at Blue Mask and struck him from different sides. She then unleashed a barrage of attacks at him, surprising you at how fast she was moving. "Woah! Chi-chi is moving pretty fast!" You said to yourself. "You can do it Chi-chi." You chanted. Chi-chi wouldn't let up her barrage of attacks. Trying to make sure Blue Mask didn't get any breathing room. "Hiyah!" Chi-chi yelled as she struck Blue Mask across the head with a kick, ending her barrage of attacks. Chi-chi let a smile grace her face, only for it to change to horror as she looked at Blue Mask again. All of Chi-chi's attacks didn't even faze Blue Mask! All Blue Mask did was stand there.... he didn't even move. "Are you done?" Blue Mask asked Chi-chi. Chi-chi didn't even response, she just stood there. Letting fear take over. Blue Mask finally made a move, and sized Chi-chi's throat with one of his hands.

"Chi-chi!" You shouted worried. Blue Mask looked at you and then back at Chi-chi. "What did you think was going to happen?" Blue Mask asked her. "Did you think by some power of friendship or willpower, you thought you could beat me?" Blue Mask squeezed Chi-chi's throat. "Let me tell you something......" Blue Mask continued to say as he suddenly slammed Chi-chi into the ground. "That's Bullshit!!!" Blue Mask yelled as he slammed Chi-chi. Blood spewed out of Chi-chi's mouth. "Aaaahhhhhh!" She screamed. Blue Mask looked at Chi-chi with his cold eyes. "It's funny..... You built yourself up so much, to prove your strong.... only to be knocked right back down." Blue Mask said with chuckled. "It's time for you to wake up and face reality..... you're a nobody and you'll always be a nobody!" Blue Mask said as he kicked Chi-chi.

You ran towards the announcer. "You have to stop him!" You tell the announcer. "If you don't he's going to kill Chi-chi!" The announcer shook his head sadly. "I'm sorry.... I can't it's the rules. She's hasn't surrendered and she's still able to fight....." the announcer said apologizing. You look at back at Chi-chi to see her get up, Barley standing. "Chi-chi....." You said quietly. Chi-chi glared back at Blue Mask. "Maybe your right....." Chi-chi said to Blue Mask. "I know I am!" Blue Mask responding. "That's what I would have said a few months ago...... but things have changed now.... I remember when my husband and I always sparred and we had the time of our life. When I became a mother..... All that changed. I lost my spark but my husband didn't. So I feared if my son followed the same path I would be left all alone.... ,then it hit me. The reason I stopped fighting was because I had a fear of never keeping up with my husband..... so I just gave up." Chi-chi then turned towards you. "But when I saw you Y/n, it made me realize I shouldn't give up! Seeing you work so hard to become stronger, Motivated me to not give up on fighting. By getting stronger you showed me that even us humans can reached beyond normal limits." Chi-chi almost collapsed. "Before I pass out I want to say one last thing...... Beat the ever living crap out of Blue Mask!" Chi-chi yelled with all her might. Blue Mask looked displeased with Chi-chi's announcement and shoved his fist in her gut. "Drop dead loser!" Blue Mask yelled as he punched Chi-chi off the arena.

"Chi-chi!" You yelled rushing to her side. Chi-chi opened her eyes weakly. "Y/n....." You tried to make sure Chi-chi saved her breath. "Shhh, it's ok Chi-chi... just rest now." The announcer stood in the middle of the arena. "And the winner is Blue Mask!" The announcer said falling enthusiasm. The announcer then walked up behind you. You glared at his approach. "I know your pissed me..... but I'm a rule follower through and through." The announcer explained as he checked Chi-chi's health. "She has a few broken bones..... A doctor should be here soon." The announcer turned back to you. "You should prepare for you fight." He told you. "I can't just leave her like this!" You defended. "Y/n....." Chi-chi said with a small voice. You turned back to Chi-chi. "Please..... rest up for your fight........ don't worry about me......" Chi-chi struggled to say. "I can't leave you like this!" You told her. Chi-chi tried to muster up a small smile. "Then..... do it.... for me...." Chi-chi managed to say as she closed her eyes and tried to rest. "Chi-chi......" was all You could say as a few doctors gathered around her and took her away.

You clenched your fist before looking at Blue Mask. Both of your eyes clashed. "I'm going to defeat you. For Chi-chi!" Blue Mask only chuckled at your declaration. "Dream on lover boy!" He said waving you away and went inside.
You head inside to clear your head. Chi-chi's words filled your head. This made you smile. You inspired Chi-chi to continue fighting. "Don't worry Chi-chi. I'm going to beat Blue Mask." You thought to yourself as you prepared for the fight of your life. You had a gut feeling that Blue Mask is going to be the strongest opponent you faced so far....
